Maybe I read the article wrong. Did the Father use the word "Missing"? I just heard him say she was no longer there.

I would bet the FBI or someone of authority has taken her. She is in custody?

Just my thought.

The article says that Mateens father says that she left.

Does not mention that the police would not know.

That she is hiding now is understandable. Prolly she is in a witness protection program.

Maybe she just couldn't refuse the all expense paid trip to Guantanamo Bay? Anyway, isn't this just the father in law saying he doesn't know where she is? I'm pretty sure some authority somewhere knows exactly where she is.

From the Sentinal article, it sounds like the little boy is with Mateen's parents. She left him at the family (really expensive piece of real estate) home in Ft Pierce.

Hmmm you would think reporters would still be hanging around and would have noticed her leaving. Paparazzi probably has a good idea where she may be. I seriously doubt she has truly slipped under the radar.

Obviously she has been receiving death threats.

One of four possibilities:

1) She’s in custody and nobody can make routine contact with her - VERY LIKELY
2) She has evaded law enforcement and is on the run alone - FAIRLY DOUBTFUL
3) She has been killed by whoever for whatever reason - ONLY TO SILENCE HER
4) She has been extracted by the Mossad and is now in Tel Aviv - DID I JUST SAY THAT?

You forgot the other faction that might extract her - Any of several Middle Eastern factions. They're just as likely as the Mossad to do it.

Yeah, it’s highly probable. Of course I’m joking about the stuff above, tongue-in-cheek. In reality, surely the authorities would have either had her in custody anyway or at least in a position where she couldn’t freely move about. Something like this can only go two ways for the authorities: either she ends up being interrogated by an agency or this is in effect done by a court of law. Either way, her running away is simply not an option and I highly doubt that they would allow that to happen unless there is significant outside help and/or some kind of conspirational agenda.

vs doing everything possible to support the family members.

And, brainstorming solutions APART FROM THE STUPIDITY of taking self-defense guns--might also be a sensible thing to do.
