Summer go away

I hate summer in Texas, I can't wait until I can move out to San Francisco

96 degrees is not that bad but throw in a 75 dew point and it becomes right down miserable

San Francisco has nice cool weather and it gets windy..I used to live near there... now I live in place with heat until end of October.

Totally agree.. I hate summers here too. 120° index in the sun, and 105° in shade today *cough-choke* *-x

Me too. I HATE SUMMER!! And not just because of the weather, but that too. It's hot. And it's HOT too. Crazy stuff always happens in the summer (see the current news). People have more time on their hands or think they should have more time on their hands. People engage in things they may not normally do and get injured. People have fantastical expectations of summer based on some unrealistic/idealized memory from childhood. Money is tighter in the summer because activities always cost a lot, plus air-conditioning is a $ sucker. Gas prices go up. Gotta do the yard work. Relatives come and stay too long. I could go on and on. Upshot - I HATE SUMMER.

Yeah, it's been brutal here in central Texas. I remember when it was raining cats and dogs in May and the temps were lower than normal. People I knew were complaining "where's summer?". I kept telling them to enjoy it because it will be hot as Hades soon enough. Sure enough...

A 96 temp with a dewpoint of 75 is only 51% relative humidity. That is comfortable. Try Florida with 95 temp and 91 dewpoint.

Going to San Francisco...think again. You can't afford it...it makes Texas look like a real deal. Remember off the bat you get to pay state income tax, pay shy high rents for # hole apartments or buy $1 million bungalows...for this you get to live in the land of the $150 lunch...sound great, huh?
Don't be a chump...enjoy the Texas summer, go to the beach, swim in the gulf of Mexico (much warmer that the Pacific Ocean beaches)!

I have spent a lot of time in San Francisco. Cool place. However plan on making $5,000 a month and not driving a vehicle.
