Another Neocon Endorses Clinton, Calling Her '2016's Real Conservative'

It would seem that not everyone in the conservative camp is to happy with Donald Trump. Over the past few days and weeks a few conservatives have thrown their support behind Hillary -- even the notoriously conservative backing Koch Brothers:

Billionaire industrialist and right-wing moneyman Charles Koch insisted in an interview this week that he could potentially support Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, speculating she could be a better commander in chief than her Republican counterparts.

This indirect endorsement is coming from one of the Koch Brothers, two of the richest human beings on the planet. The Kochs have for years used their enormous wealth to bankroll countless right-wing causes, from anti-tax activism to climate science denial.

And there's more:

Leading neoconservative Max Boot insists Clinton would be “vastly preferable” to Trump.

Boot is a figure who openly supports “American imperialism” — no need to run away from the label, he maintains. “The greatest danger is that we won’t use all of our power for fear of the ‘I’ word,” Boot says.

The neocon Clinton backer ardently defends the idea of “American exceptionalism” and loudly cheerleaded for the illegal U.S. invasion of Iraq — and practically every war and military intervention since.

A Trump presidency, Boot warns, could threaten the U.S. empire he embraces; Clinton would ensure its longevity.

But the newest story (and headline) comes from James Kirchick, in an op-ed in the Daily Beast, which he titled: “Hillary Clinton Is 2016’s Real Conservative—Not Donald Trump.”

“Clinton is the candidate of the status quo, something that conservatives, by definition, are supposed to uphold,” Kirchick writes.

“Hillary Clinton is the one person standing between America and the abyss,” he says, seeing her as a mealymouthed centrist candidate with “better conservative credentials” than the alternatives.

Trump is “a brashly authoritarian populist,” Kirchick continues—a “charlatan, a gruesome amalgamation of the Monopoly Man and Elmer Gantry,” who is transforming “the Republican Party into an ethno-nationalist populist movement.”

The NWO has had pro-NWO presidents since JFK...and we all know how JFK ended.

I disagree with you in a few areas. First of all Republican and conservative are not synonymous. Preserving the status quo is not conservative; Kirchick is full of sh1t. The status quo are oligarchs. Conservatives believe in a small government, which is designed to keep oligarchies from forming in the first place. To be conservative is to be inherently anti oligarchy. Republicans are simply the biggest brand name that calls themselves conservatives and speak their language; but a tree is known by its fruits. The Republicans do not hold conservative values; they only talk the talk. Their true Allegiance is to the Oligarchy. Therefore there is no confusion or identity crisis. The Kochs are elite, and like their puppets to be user friendly. Hitlary, as a seasoned politician familiar with the political machine & the hidden hand, must make her a very appealing choice. They don't care which brand of cola or what ideology wins the race, only that it serve them.

Trump is not an antiNWO candidate. He is only an actor playing his part in this Political Theater. People running for office will promise anything to be elected. After the disaster that was Bush jr, we elected a man who promised change. That he'd be different and serve the people instead of the wealthy, end wars, and have the most transparent govt ever. And we all saw how true that turned out to be.
Trump is the same. He's Change We Can All Believe In, wearing Red. How can you believe a man born to the ruling class is one of us commoners? How can you believe such a man will side with us to oppose the oligarchs? Did you know Trump said that he's just talking the talk, just doing it for votes? Did you know, before this election cycle, Trump was ALWAYS on the blue team. Like the Kochs on red. The brand does not matter, so long as Cola wins.
There is no freedom, because the two party system is rigged. THEY select the candidates. Both of them. No matter what, they win. Trump is their man too, and its the Red Teams turn to win. Prepare for another tyrant like Bush to claim to be conservative, while enlarging the govt, & taking away our freedoms, and all the idiot red voters will be fine with it, as long as a blue guy doesnt do it, while dems will be boo-hooing, despite making excuses for Obama under the same charges.

Trump is just too ignorant and uncouth and insults the intelligence of people

Hillary is neocon enough to get some conservative neocons but she therefore should not make Warren her VP nominee….

If Hillary makes Warren her VP she may loose those conservative votes

the koch brothers are historically conservative, their views on climate change alone would raise eyebrows on the left.
if hillarys advisors have any sense, these need a cold shoulder.

"Neocon" is lip service, an illusion that allows the liberalization of the GOP to occur while the marginalized Republicans to keep the public harping on social issues the neoconservative have zero intention of actually acting on.
