As kid I always wondered why people said:

"We won" if they won
and
"They lost" when they lost.

I just never had the connection. Nowadays I like to watch the games but don't ask me who particular players are. I don't know and I don't care

Now give me some nice odds and I might bet on them which obviously needs to be done without emotions for a team.

Now everybody knows:

Had a look at the draw for the knock-out stages - Wales have a half decent chance of getting through to the final if they continue to perform to the level they have been.

England have blown their chance - 'we' should beat Iceland but after that it looks very, very hard.

I'd love to be proven wrong and see England progress to the final....and who knows, maybe a return match with Wales, that would be brilliant.

Got to take my hat off to Northern Ireland too, they've done excellent.

I've had a 'small' wager on Italy who were massively over priced at the start of the tournament....but I'm still rooting for England and the Home Nations.

If you look at history one thing is for certain, England always finds new and creative ways to BREXIT. I really think we could be the reason for their demise this year. Surely Big England will underestimate us, with all the pressure in the world on their back. They expect to win us, from the players to the fans to the media. We have nothing to lose here...the underdog is still here. Monday night going to be amazing!!

Yes, I think you're right.

Most of my friends and acquaintances suggest the same about Roy. I guess I feel a bit sorry for Roy and was always willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

As a Liverpool fan I cannot stand the man... he is odious.
