Cleveland.com reporter Andrew J. Tobias reported last week that plans are afoot to spend part of the federal government's $50 million security grant to Cleveland for the July Republican National Convention on six-foot-tall fences and other barricades around town.
The RNC has been designated a National Special Security Event, which makes it eligible for federal funding. The U.S. Secret Service is running point on security, and is overseeing the high-security perimeter that is expected to be built around Quicken Loans Arena, the main convention venue.

We know they already ordered riot gear. They have something to worry about based on the paid for attacks by certain organizations. But the party of the people???? Shame....

Really? You never defended the rioters and thugs and terrorists?
You may have called them "peaceful protesters".

Complains? or points out hypocrisy? The DNC should be allowing all of the followers to enter the convention. We are not talking about the RNC convention. Maybe you could make your own thread. Difference is that is to keep out the protesters like in California. The DNC is doing it to keep out the Bernies supporters...wait, they are the same right?

I wonder if Liz Warren will criticize the money being spent?
