Kaelci leapt from her stool at the bar! That was close! That crazy pixie had flown past almost scarily fast, and in its speed it had smacked into Darien’s glass and knocked it from his hand. She swiftly lifted it from the ground and inspected it, pleased to see that the glass did not shatter and did not crack, the gentle magic woven within the fine trappings of the Shed having kept it whole.

She glanced over at Darien, about to ask if he were alright, when she witnessed with great amusement his appearance! Kaelci threw her hands across her mouth to hold in her laughter, though it wasn’t to be, the giggles shaking her body as her eyes looked Darien up and down. “Okay, now I like this particular pixie!”

The strange pixie had completely coated Darien in her pixie dust! He shimmered and shined in the soft light that shone from the braziers on either side of the bar, a strange visual effervescence emanated from him. The effervescence fizzled and popped all about him, a green fur growing on his face and his hair swiftly shrinking back into his skull. He rubbed at his eyes and murmured quietly. “I feel tingly…” and then leapt back in dismay as he saw that his hand was green. “By the Three!”

His eyes began to widen, the sockets growing larger, a purple tinge beginning to shine from his pupils, and he sighed heavily, exasperatedly as he threw his arms up into the air and clapped his hands, murmuring unintelligible words under his breath. A sharp bang echoed throughout the emptiness of the Shed and a golden aura shone from Darien as he lost the fur and began to transform back into how she knew him.

Kaelci hadn’t stopped giggling this entire time, and her laughter only got worse as Darien glared at her and shook his head with an exaggerated sadness. Deep breaths in, deep breaths out, she finally calmed herself and smiled brightly at the man. “Awww! I think I might’ve liked you a bit more if you were green and furry!”

The crisis having been averted and having calmed herself, she remembered what had caused this ruckus to begin with! That crazy pixie! What was wrong with the creature? It did not act like any pixie she had ever met before. It squeaked, had some attitude, and no pixie no matter how mischievous would ever knock a drink from someone’s hand.

She hurriedly glanced down at the floor near where the glass had fallen, and where the spilled liquid remained, and spied the strange pixie sitting in the liquid… her head waving slowly from side to side as she squeaked a little song to herself, constant hiccups interrupting her squeaky tune. The creature was drunk! Kaelci hurriedly lifted the pixie from the drenched floor and took her into the lounge, placing the little lady on one of the small cushions littered here and there.

The pixie giggled and waved up at Kaelci with a shaky hand, a dopey smile on its face… its familiar face… Kaelci narrowed her eyes and stared hard at the pixie, trying to determine why her face looked so familiar… but it wouldn’t come to mind. It would come along later.

Sighing heavily, Kaelci settled onto one of the lounges and closed her eyes. Nothing was as it should be! Sita had become malevolent, the forest was in darkness, nobody had been there to greet them in the Shed, and this strange squeaky pixie… it was all wrong! They needed to fix this, and soon.

Continued from page 86

As the friends approached the shed, they searched for Syx, but couldn't find him anywhere. They figured he was off flying about somewhere enjoying the beautiful day. They grabbed some bacon that he left behind and ate it before continuing up to the steps of the Shed. When they entered the lounge, they saw a lovely lady and handsome, but rather drunken man. "There!" shouted Pesky. "On the pillow! I told you! Didn't I tell you?"

Night introduced herself to the couple, smiled widely and welcomed them to the shed. "There are many wondrous things in these lands and even the shed itself, I hope you have found things satisfactory. You may choose a room to your liking or create one of your own just by imagining it. I am sure you have an interesting story to tell as to how you all got here, we all do."

Pesky flew over to the other pixie and sat beside her after introducing herself to the other new arrivals. "So, what's your story? What's your name? Why are you a pixie, but not a pixie? How is that even possible? I'm all ears." Night Star laughed. "More like you're all mouth. Slow down, you don't want scare everyone away do you?" The new pixie smiled and waved before falling over and conking out." Pesky's eyes widened. "She's drunk as a skunk. I don't think we'll be getting much out of her for a while." She looked over to Kaelci. "Is she with you or did you meet here?"

Night apologized for her little friend's behavior. "I'm sorry, Pesky has always been a curious one, but don't let her bother you." The little pixie scowled. "Well, how else will you learn anything if you don't ask?" Night sighed. "You take time to breath and let them get to know you a bit. Now hush."

Hahaha! That was wonderful

I'm sitting here giggling and my partner is all "What?!?!?!" and I'm just spitting out bits and pieces of the story (current and past, in a mish-mash attempt to explain it all), he's smiling and nodding, and I'm "sigh, you need to read it to understand"


Darien is rather handsome isn't he? LOL, I should've left him green hahaha.

Today it looks like cotton candy. LOL Probably because I have cotton candy on my mind. I went and got my niece some Trix yogurt yesterday and it was cotton candy, and I just had to try it. OMG, it is YUMMY!!!!! So, now I am buying me the kids Trix yogurt. LOL

Guys I'm going to apologize now....I don't think I will be able to add to the story today. And with the weekend (I go mobile on weekends) it will be Monday. I don't want anyone waiting on me so please write away if you want. And have a blast with Martin the Pixie. I will just plan on Drego showing up Monday to help unless you guys think of something in the meantime. SORRY!!!!!!

Here, have a present @Syx. One of my EXTREMELY RARE completed drawings. I used another drawing as a reference, but I did it entirely freehand. Final Fantasy 10's Dragon King, Bahamut. I had to take a picture of the piece of paper with my phone, so the quality isn't the best, and a bit of the drawing is cropped out (though nothing major, just a bit of his neck.)

It's fairly old, two or three years. The piece of paper was sitting in a plastic pocket inside a cupboard in our dining room, and I decided to take it out and photograph it just for you. Might not be the type of dragon you like, but it's still worth posting here as one of my very few bits of hand drawn artwork.

I was planning a little story reply to Miss Night, still working on it though. This is all new territory for me, I've never collaborated before xD and it's probably noticeable in my story's words but ah well! It's so much fun and that's all that matters
