Bird, how can you love spiders? That's just...just not normal!

I suppose I am truly twisted!

Here’s some tidbits that are just fascinating to me…(maybe it will shed some insight, maybe not)

1. All spiders spin silk but not all spiders spin webs
2. Their blood is blue
3. Investigate the bite and side effects of the Brazilian wandering spider. It may, in the future help men and women.
4. The silk in a spider’s web is five times stronger than a strand of steel that is the same thickness. A web made of strands of spider silk as thick as a pencil could stop a Boeing 747 jumbo jet in flight. Scientists still cannot replicate the strength and elasticity of a spider’s silk
5. Some male spiders give dead flies to the females as presents.
6. According to Greek myth, a girl named Arachne could spin so well that the goddess Athena became jealous and turned her into a spider

Yes the top pic is my grandma. She is a spitfire! LOL She raised 7 kids (3 girls, 4 boys) and went she yells jump....everyone ask how high ma'am! LOL

It's not a discrimination thing, I assure you. The owners sure had no issues with members going on to post sheds 5, 6 & 7. In fact, SkepticOverlord was quite encouraging in that regard.

Like I mentioned, I checked places that only staff can access, and shed4 was nowhere to be found. It must still be stored in the system, but I expect that only a senior admin or an owner has access to the tools to locate it and make it accessible.

Now, listen, I'm not going to Australia anytime soon and bedding down with those Goliaths that they have but I sure would enjoy visiting...from a distance...healthy respect...LOL

Thank you to Gimme for that enormous cake! Glad you were able to fix the original version, which at first looked like I'd sat on it! Thanks also to Syx for the repost.

I'll see what can be done about recovering shed4. Will need to ask senior staff or owners. But please give me a few days and then remind me if I haven't posted here about it.

Chirp, no way am I clicking on that link about spiders! They do sometimes have lovely webs that they weave though. The only spider I ever loved was Charlotte from Charlottes Web.

That is why I always remind people that if they send me a message and I don't answer, it's because I didn't get it and to try again. Best thing to do if we are messaging a Shed member is to say, "You have mail."

I'm popping in and out of here doing things.

Oh, Jess, I keep forgetting about the story. Right now, I don't think I have the strength for another battle so soon. I too would like some kind of adventure in the forest, but not sure what kind.

I have been so busy lately between Doctor visits, tests and parties and what-not, I never know when I will feel inspired to write. Sometimes I just listen to some music and the story kind of writes itself. I'll have a little something in mind then all of a sudden the story starts to take on a mind of its own, so I never have any long term plans really.

I look forward to your story line and that of others. I always love reading each and every one, it is such a treat!
