When I was young mate ... back when I lived in Sydney you could find me at Cronulla every weekend.

My young bloke does however enjoy the surf.

We have lots of choices beach wise as we are on a peninsular always some swell somewhere lol.

Only thing is ... he is an esky lid rider. Frowned upon by real surfers !

I lived briefly in Maryborough, close to Hervey Bay! But I never went to the beach there, farrrrrr too touristy and impossible to visit without walking into a million people.

That photo is from Shoal Point up near Mackay! There's a few housing estates up there, Shoal Point Waters and a little suburb called Bucacia, absolutely beautiful. And has schools and shops and BEACH!! all close by, walking distance, while remaining somewhat rural. A perfect place for a millionaire LOL.

Though prices are going down now that the mining boom is apparently over up there. Might find something cheap one of these days.

I work all day. And come home to a new home.

Lol, I got home from work and Penny Pooch is sound asleep on her couch. I got her a cloth couch with pillows and she loves it lol.

Yeah, I can't wait to see what you think. I swore I wouldn't pay that for a pillow but yes I think it is worth it. Don't freak, it is flat as a pancake when you get it. Stick it in the dryer for 15 min with a damp wash cloth, and voila!

Hello whoever is still here! Had a busy day then set up a tank for my gorgeous fancy betta. His body is blue and his fins are white with a pearlized blue. He seems quite happy in his new home away from that little plastic cup they keep them in at the pet store.

Hardly got any sleep last night and just exhausted and soooo sore! Haven't even had supper yet! So I'm going to grab something to eat and catch up in here. Love you all!
