Finally had the ability to get out yesterday after the heat and the rain over the past several days let up. Spent most of the day between Russell, Kentucky and Williamson, West Virginia with a couple of friends of mine. We didn't really see much in the way of traffic due to maintenance work going on. However, we did manage to grab a few photos along the way both before and after eating lunch.

Coming out of Russell Yard to make some head room. CSX 919 is seen approaching RU Cabin so it can reverse back to double up its train before heading east for Huntington and points beyond.

I'm doing great! How have you been and how's things down around Bluefield? It's been a while since I last posted on here. Haven't really had much time to do anything lately. I guess you could say that I followed them back.

Believe it or not, that is actually not a house that anyone lived or lives in. It was at one time RU Cabin, RUssell Cabin, the interlocking tower that used to control the east end of Russell Yard up until the mid to late 1980's. If you look closely up under the air conditioner in the window. You can still see "RU" painted on the brick under it.

On the moon Lady Luck was rising from the dust on her wild moon horse, as the day went by calm moonamols or moon animals were seeking rides from alien ships.

Lady Luck found time to redo all her past dreams into beautiful colors of happy times on the Earth. The moon is her home and she will ride again.
