After the Dem party has rigged the primary process against him, the question is will Sen Sanders try and independent run for the presidency. Many Sanders supporters saw problems with his running a Democrat, the party is corporate. The Dem party has little use for honesty in politics and has bowed to the moneyed interests, the DNC has no love for the people nor room for a Sanders presidency.

Mr Sanders after the Dem convention, it's time to Go Green!

Will Bernie Sanders Try An Independent Run At The White House?
He May Have Just Hinted At Bucking The Democratic Party And Running Alone

Sanders was asked about the offer from Green Party candidate Jill Stein for Sanders to fill the party’s ticket.

His answer was far from a definitive “no.”

“Right now, our goal is to win the Democratic nomination,” Sanders said.

Salon writers Kevin Zeese and Patrick Walker wrote that Bernie Sanders would be smart to consider an independent run, especially given his greater odds of defeating Donald Trump.

“Sanders leaving the door open to a Sanders-Stein ticket comes at a time when polls show unprecedented support for a candidate to challenge Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. This week NBC found that 47% of voters would consider a third-party candidate if Clinton and Trump were the major-party nominees. In the last week, two other polls found a large minority will vote for a third party this year. Schoen Consulting found 20% of voters would vote for a third party against Clinton and Trump with 14% undecided; Data Targeting Inc. found 21% would do so with 14% undecided.”

Clinton and her supporters have been a rude and arrogant bunch, from the slur of BernieBros to the rigging of elections. This and her sordid past, her war hawking and support of the 1% have caused many Sanders supporters to vow never to vote for her.

I hope so, it will guarentee trump wins. But no he will not, his best hope is a Hillary indictment before the convention and somehow getting the nomination.

I hope he does but I don't think he will. Is the Green Party even on every state ballot?

Not sure, but the signature and filing deadlines might be a problem.

Filing deadlines and signature requirements for independent presidential candidates, 2016

but maybe petitions are already circulating?

Seems that the voters are clamoring for someone (trump, sanders) who isn't cookie cutter, smoooooth, or connected. The connected part is odd because Trump seems to very well connected.

From what I have seen in the debates Bernie seems to have logical arguments based on facts that are tangible. I would love to see a contested democrat convention, or a third party run for Bernie. The primary system is indeed rigged to Hillary and Bernie is screwed.

With a net worth of $500,000 Bernie seems to be doing one of two things; (1) either he is a complete idiot and not wholesale raping the system like all his millionaire peers, or (2) perhaps he really believes in what he says.

The election is not rigged. Stop saying it is. Or prove it.

And to answer the question in the thread title No.

There is a considerable body of evidence that shows election rigging. There are number of threads just on ats concerning the investigations and subsequent charges with links to the pertinent information. To not consider this a simple fact considering the amount of evidence makes one wonder if you read the news? This has been discussed and shown to be real so many times, not just isolated incidents.

Of course the Democrat Primary is rigged...the vast majority of Super Delegates had already pledged to support the establishment candidate (Hillary), before the other candidates even entered the race.

Where? Where is all this evidence and why isn't the law involved if there is, and why aren't the news outlets reporting it?
Watergate was all over the news . The scandal which as I've pointed out involved wire tapping not even rigging an election and that unseated a president. This election business is very serious. They don't play games. If there's proof of fraud or rigging that's serious stuff and the FBI should be notified.
Otherwise it's total BS ...

Hillary wins Virgin Islands caucus. Picks up more delegates.

The DNC definitely rigged the Primary process in Crooked Hillary's favor.
Superdelegates.
Debbie Wasserman- Sgt. Shultz
Probably in other ways, yet to come to light, as well..

Wow, you really don't know how the world works, do you?

Didn't we have literally trillions of dollars worth of fraud and theft in 2008 and who went to jail over that? Let's see what happens with ole Hillary shall we? Maybe the PTB will throw her under the bus once she becomes an unrecoverable liability;-)

ETA: I forgot to add the cherry picking is priceless ;-)

That is their free choice you know. Essentially its them saying who they support and you would deny them that.
If they were pledged (even though they are unpledged ) before anyone else was in the race how did Bernie or Martin OMally get any? These are prominent democrats saying in a formal setting that they support a certain member of their party for president. It's their right. It just happens that many more support Clinton than Bernie.
The bylines state that if there is no clear winner after a first vote then they can if they wish support a different candidate.

Not so Silly. The Watergate story first hit the stands before Nixon's election and was hardly reported at all. Just short stories that often did not even make the front page. And it was not all over the news, it was Woodword and Bernstien and the Post that kept it running. It was almost scrapped a number of times over several years before the proof began to show up , and the whole picture began to focus.

Those that want to control did not miss the lessons of Watergate. They have learned to better cover their tracks

No not that I'm aware of. Where were those cases? What news station covered the trials ? Where are the perps today?

You have nothing. Where's the substance.
Cherry picking ? Ok that's another thing I'll ask you to clarify. What did I cherry pick and please what did I leave out that makes it cherry picked information.

It wasn't all over the news? It made the history books.

OMG the denial is thick in this thread.

Hey every news story starts as a trickle. Even big events sometimes. Then there's more and a bit more. So because it built-up that means it wasn't all over the news.
And Nixon resigning. I guess they hardly covered that at all too right ?
But now, it's gotten so sophisticated that their nefarious efforts will never be detected only suspected.
We are to presume that since there is no proof of rigging it's because they are better at covering it up? Ok conspiracy website I understand the thought process.

p

You said "Watergate was all over the news . The scandal which as I've pointed out involved wire tapping not even rigging an election and that unseated a president."

This is maybe the one time that something actually happened to unseat a president that was in the news. Whitewater, travelogate, Mena Arkansas, Vince foster, the 2.3 billion missing from the pentagon the day before September 11, etc. Yeah they all got a little airplay lol. However, the election system, like the fiat currency system, is a "confidence" game. Lose confidence and it falls apart. There are articles in the news that have been reported in the MSM and are reflected on ats, many. You can look them up as easy as I can or go to google. The simple fact remains that if all the election fraud was constantly in the news like Kim kardashians ass, confidence in the system would be lost and the US people would be in a civil war. A civil war that was between the delusionals and the critical thinkers I imagine.

Now go out and do yourself a favour, do some actual research. It's not my job to educate you, it's your job to be a better, smarter or more well informed person than you were yesterday.

Cheers - Dave

It is pretty obvious you weren't around and reading the papers during the Watergate scandal. It took a couple of years before the full story actually came out and Nixon was forced to resign. Reading the history books isn't the same as being there seeing it develop. Deny ignorance. You might want to go down to your local library or search online for newspaper accounts from the time to see how those in power can deny, stonewall and block investigations for years. No reason to believe anything has changed among the powerful.
Locally some of our "super delegates" have been "cautioned" about voting for the "wrong" person. If Ms Clinton's people get too nasty there well could be a revolt of super delegates who are truly tired of the corruption they see but a lot of them depend heavily on party money and will dance with the one that brung them no matter what.

I still believe that Bernie is the Chosen One.

If he does manage to become the nominee, I wonder if Bernie supporters -- who seem to understand how corrupt the DNC is in manipulating and rigging the process to choose the nominee -- will admit that the process was rigged for Bernie all along?

Especially if Hillary's email server scandal is the catalyst.

I wonder if his supporters will consider how controlled this entire scandal and investigation has been? Will they ask themselves why The Establishment might believe they could benefit under a Bernie administration?

Or will they honestly believe they beat The Establishment?

Unfortunately, I think we know the answer, generally speaking.

What the truth actually is won't be known until it is too late, I fear.

Your theory has stuck in the back of mind since I first read it months ago now it seems, so here's one person who at the very least will be highly skeptical but hoping for the absolute best.

I think one thing this election season has shown most of us is that we don't know or understand as much as we thought we did. Regardless the outcome, more lessons will have been learned.

Let's hope we get it right this time and the gain resolve to integrate those lessons into practice for once. Not sure how many more chances we're gonna get.
