I would have thought that the introduction of this particular curriculum shows intelligent forward thinking by the school. After all gender identity is not going to go away so the children need to be taught understanding of human diversity. That way they don't grow to be ignorant bullies against all gender types.
Ignorance is not an attractive quality.

Our world view?
You mean the worldview that we don't agree with teaching five years olds about gender spectrum and why if you have a penis it doesn't mean your a boy?
God please send your meteor as quickly as possible.

I think this is the sort of thinking that indicates a closed mind.
I understand that some people feel they are another gender trapped in the wrong body.
Fine.
I don't think it is proper to teach this before children are even learning about sex. I think we live in a hyper-sexualized society and that children should be children and allowed to simply be. They have only a few short years before they have to really worry about that, and they should be allowed to more or less enjoy it. To me, that is why it's illegal to marry a child or have sex with them, and this issue of teaching them sexual education and gender studies before their hormones are even really going is starting that process off prematurely.
It is taking away that innocence of childhood.

ROFL it does not matter. People with your mental illness will always not only be such an insignificant minority, but will always be ostracized, harassed, and looked down upon especially when the loudest of you are forcing children to believe and accept outright lies of the biological existence of and standards of human.
the only thing these actions accomplish is that when the man on his throne in the White House is no longer your friend, the backlash will come back times ten. Wait and see .... there is a purge coming.
You want to ban bathroom breaks? How about recess? Lunch? P.E.? Music? Art? Ban all those things, and that will allow maximum time for adding/subtracting, reading, writing. You will have one stressed out kid though.
I found that when teaching my daughter, we only needed about 3 hours a day to cover all the core subjects, including French. The only "after school" work she does is some evening reading, with some additional evening and weekend time spent on fun stuff like music/art/photography. Yeah, and I still have time to discuss social issues with her.
I was reading about the school system in Norway (I think- one of those Scandinavian countries). They have zero homework, and they only teach core classes about 2 1/2 or 3 hours a day. The rest of the school day is dedicated to play. They are doing a lot better than the U.S. on education scores. You do not need to spend 8 hours a day on math/reading/writing.
