Yep this is starting to look more and more like something they want us to focus on as a wedge issue to divide us. Draw all our attention off the real issues and turn us on each other. I don't put minorities or women or ACLU lawyers on pedestals but I would accuse the left of putting each of those on one. They try and say that people like her are everything right about America while crotchety old white males are everything wrong with America. So when Fox plays into it and says oh look there's a black person who doesn't hate us, they end up looking racist defending themselves from the racist attack the left has pinned on them for decades. I think there is nothing wrong about feeling afraid of having a surprise in the bathroom. If I walked in the bathroom and there were 3 women in the bathroom, I would have a hard time going and I'm a big guy so it's not like I'm afraid of them for that reason. Y'know, this whole entire topic is getting beyond ridiculous. I have to agree with what many people say is a perfect solution: Unisex Bathrooms.

There's really nothing wrong with this idea, to be fair if you live in a house with men/women then you do it all of the time anyway. This way if you're paranoid about some perv peeping on your loved ones then everyone can be in the bathroom together. Besides the feeling of "safety" that this would bring it may have other benefits as well.

What other benefits you may ask?? Hygiene!!!

Have you ever really listened around you when you're in the restroom?? No, I don't mean listen to people going to the bathroom, but what they do after they go. If you do, you would notice that most people don't wash their hands afterwards. I've talked to both sexes on this topic and this seems to be a big problem on both sides. People are disgusting. In fact, my wife has walked in to plenty of female stalls to see that not only did they not flush, they didn't even wipe! My wife works at a clothing store that has expensive clothing, so only ladies with lots of money shop there. It's funny/sad to think some of them are that disgusting.

The point I'm getting at is that many people act differently when other sexes are around. There's a very good chance that people may actually wash their hands more when the other sexes are around so that way they don't come off as a disgusting pig.

Another benefit is actually for the transgendered. I always hear how people will make the lives hell for those who use the wrong restroom, well, with unisex bathrooms there is no wrong one. In fact, they may even feel safer because if one bigot decides to say something many others may tell him to stfu and shove it up their ass.

Two shut down or left the hedge funds they were in, because they broke up a massive fraud and stopped way more corrupt money traders from being allowed to print money. 1 was investigated numerous times and audited 4 times after.

Only 1 banker went to jail for the subprime crisis.

You don't quite understand how children work, do you?

Are you really trying to apply or attribute adult-level logical thinking to elementary-school-aged children?

See, that's the problem--people who think this has zero effect on children are the ones creating the issues--or, at the least, perpetuating them. You can't just yank the rug of societal normalcy out from under the feet of children and expect them not to react negatively (overall). These are the same kids who are scared of the dark, or are frightened by the sound of an owl at night, or are afraid to jump off of the diving board into a pool, or any other myriad of things that, to adults, seem irrational.

You need to explore the "why" behind this being an issue, instead of only asking the question. Just because the issue may not align with your ideology doesn't negate the fact that, for many, this really is an issue. Asking "why is this an issue?" and implying that it shouldn't be is tantamount to living in a fantasy world, where transgendered people (not "tranny," although why is that word even an issue?) can ride into bathrooms on flying unicorns and have single-digit-aged children embrace them upon entry.

You may have hopes that multi-gendered bathrooms become the norm, but right now in our society, they are not. Stop pretending like it shouldn't bother young children to have their societal norms to which they are accustomed dramatically altered basically overnight.

One time when my daughter was very little, we went out somewhere public and saw a man with a disfigured face. I think he was a burn victim. He looked kind of scary and my daughter was taken aback by his appearance. I just took her aside and told her he was just a normal man, like Daddy, who got into some kind of accident which made his face look like that. I told her he was nothing to be afraid of and that it wasn't nice to stare because it might hurt his feelings.

Sometimes kids are going to be in public around other people, and sometimes those people are going to look or seem scary in some way to a kid. That's life. No need to bash the people who unsettle them, as long as they aren't threatening harm in any way.

Those girls could have seen those trans people anywhere in a public place. Nothing magical about seeing them in a bathroom.
