This thread delivers!

When I witnessed this person place the second layer of saugage, I almost had a stroke from over salivation. It was an explosion. One layer would suffice, three is certainly brutal.

This person accomplished this feat in a camp ground setting or wilderness setting making it much more special than it would have been if in the kitchen. The homemade sausage looks real good, possibly made from wild boar.

Lastly, the cook gains the approval of his feathered friend. Well done. Well done indeed.

After watching the video, I find myself oddly hungry.

Having an owl for a friend would be a hoot, tho.

Where do people "come upon" such friends..

Interesting way to cook meat, if you must eat it that is. I prefer to stick you my nuts and berries.

I've never witnessed such drama over food before.

Is that a healthy approach, a perversion or should an understanding be that it is simply "art?"

Good God Almighty...(do I need to say more?)

Ok: My eyes are burning because I didn't blink for 5 minutes, 48 seconds, and I'm thirsty because I just drooled enough to fill a baby pool.

I'm assuming this sandwich needs to be eaten outside as well. Not sure if the mess could be contained indoors. However, i'd be up to the challenge.

Lol. It never did show the owl after it showed the sausage. Hhmmm...

My arteries just hardened to solid concrete. Sausage sandwich for supper. Loved the setting and owl. Time to get outside.

It looked ok. The presentation was definitely the highlight of the sandwich. Also, the sausage looked to be way more than 30% fat content.

The use of tiles for cooking was a good idea, but I would have probably smoked the sausage instead. Plus, sausage is usually precooked anyways, so he is essentially reheating it on hot tiles and keeping the juices next to the sausage for more flavor.

Nice vid tho, well made.
