Looking back at the Clinton tax returns released last year (I think), we notice something strange.

Apparently over time, they used charity deductions to reduce their tax liabilities.

Odd thing is, most of the "donations" went to the Clinton Foundation !!!!

Looks like around $14.8 million dollars worth !!!

It's good when somebody can give their money to "themselves" and claim it as a tax reducing deduction isn't it.

This is a good eye opener for voters.

Hillary Clinton Releases Her Tax Returns

As for charitable donations, the Clintons gave just under $15 million over the eight-year period, which is 10.8 percent of their total income. The vast majority of that — about $14.8 million — went through the Clinton Family Foundation, the vehicle the Clintons frequently use to make personal donations, and another $57,000 went to the Clinton Global Initiative. The Clintons' other donations were to the Nelson Mandela Foundation ($60,000), Humana Challenge ($46,000), the First Methodist United Church ($20,000), Exploring the Arts ($4,100), St. Stephen's Armenian Apostolic Church ($2,500) and the Hot Springs Class of '64, Bill Clinton's high school graduating class in Arkansas ($200).

What's the problem here? It would appear that they believe in what the CF and CGI is doing. Enough so that they put their money were their mouths were.

If you are so gung-ho to criticize somebody's taxes, maybe you should hold off until you see Trumps.

By the way, where are his?

The "deductions" could be illegal.

Definitely immoral I would say.

Especially for a Presidential candidate !!!

Oh he is in a continual IRS audit endless loop.

He can't publish his taxes even if he wanted to.

Political corruption at its finest. The sad thing is that this is probably on the lighter side of the depredations of this particular political dynasty. 😕

You do know that's BS, right? Previous candidates, including attorney's and an IRS employee have said it is perfectly fine for him to release his taxes anytime he wants. No problemo

Using their donations to their own charity is problematic, considering there are reports they use the "charity" as their personal slush fund.

Obviously not. The records are open to the public and no one has taken action. Methinks you are making-up nonsense to push more propaganda.

Definitely immoral I would say.

Many of the threads you start are either dishonest or disingenuous. Forgive me if laugh at what you deem "moral" or "immoral".

Clinton Foundation

Because of our work, more than 31,000 American schools are providing kids with healthy food choices in an effort to eradicate childhood obesity; more than 105,000 farmers in Malawi, Rwanda, and Tanzania are benefiting from climate-smart agronomic training, higher yields, and increased market access; more than 33,500 tons of greenhouse gas emissions are being reduced annually across the United States; over 450,000 people have been impacted through market opportunities created by social enterprises in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Asia; through the independent Clinton Health Access Initiative, 9.9 million people in more than 70 countries have access to CHAI-negotiated prices for HIV/AIDS medications; an estimated 85 million people in the U.S. will be reached through strategic health partnerships developed across industry sectors at both the local and national level; and members of the Clinton Global Initiative community have made more than 3,400 Commitments to Action, which have improved the lives of over 430 million people in more than 180 countries. - See more at: www.clintonfoundation.org...

Wow, they have helped 430 million people. Amazing.

The Clinton Foundation is hardly more than a slush fund,
it has been on a Charity Watch list, and In other words, it is a scam.

The Clinton family’s mega-charity took in more than $140 million in grants and pledges in 2013 but spent just $9 million on direct aid.

The group spent the bulk of its windfall on administration, travel, and salaries and bonuses, with the fattest payouts going to family friends

May 11, 2016 - Yet here's the thing: There's nothing preventing Trump from releasing his tax returns now. Not the IRS, not the law, not even precedent

Feb 26, 2016 - An audit by itself would not prevent Trump from releasing his tax returns. It is up to an individual whether to disclose his or her tax return
