Thank You

Thank you for fighting for me,
For being the voice I couldn't be.
For doing all the things I can't do,
For standing by me and being true.

Thank you for raising up your fists,
Thank you, thank you for doing this.
Fighting for me when others wouldn't,
For doing the things you knew I couldn't.




Footprints

I follow the path of others before me,
Their footprints placed so delicately.
I'm ghosting them, their leading me,
To the place I was always meant to be.

They left a trail that was so obvious,
Full of signs and sounds sonorous,
I couldn't help but to follow them,
To that place where only few have been.
