Remember when Bernie told Crooked Hillary: "I don't care about your damn emails"?
Well, it looks like he's ready to admit she's got a real problem with them...and he may now be seeing them as 'fair game'.

IMO Bernie should really hold her feet to the fire on this topic...HE has a unique opportunity to ask her challenging questions...questions that she will be ill prepared to answer.

She's in trouble...BIG trouble...and this is Sanders' last chance to make a long-shot play for the nomination.

Months after telling Hillary Clinton that Americans were “sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails,” Bernie Sanders may be changing his mind.

Interviewed Friday on “Real Time with Bill Maher” on HBO, Sanders was asked if the furor over Clinton’s use of a private email server as secretary of state had become large enough for the Vermont senator to reconsider his refusal to engage Clinton on the issue.

“It has,” he said.
“But this is what I also think: There is an enormous frustration on the part of the American people.”

I always thought his original comment was a little fishy, almost like he got paid to say it or was told to say it.

That's about all that was said in the interview and the subject quickly evolved to other things. Perhaps we should put this in proper context.

Nothing damaging here.

All he has to do is bring up a few key points during speeches, and Hillary will fry like a hamburger.

He said enough to make the point. Pretty straightforward.

Sanders was asked if the furor over Clinton’s use of a private email server as secretary of state had become large enough for the Vermont senator to reconsider his refusal to engage Clinton on the issue. “It has,” he said.

That is not what Maher said in the interview. Watch the video. About 2 mins in.

Sanders compounds his earlier statements on the issue.

Totally out of context. that's not a direct quote from the interview

the OP source is twisting words to suit their bias

Sanders really #ed up during the debates. He had a perfect chance to call her out on all of her scandals and seal the nomination but for some reason he just checked out and kept repeating progressive myths about the woman wage gap and how white people don't know what it's like to be poor.

I think at this point he's starting to get desperate. First Trump makes a joke on Jimmy Kimmel about debating Sanders instead of Hillary and he takes it seriously and makes a big fuss about it, and now he's actually talking about Benghazi and the email scandal. Hate to say it, but it's a little late in the game to start growing a pair.

I have to admit, there's not much to take away from Bernie's response. It doesn't go into any detail about how he thinks or feels concerning the latest developments related to Hillary's e-mails. It looks like he sidestepped having to elaborate by using a canned response and as few words as possible. Probably got tired and needed a nap after that.

Bernie's failure to continue to highlight Hillary's failure to take security seriously while serving as Sec State, cost him...

It's not like he would have been fighting dirty....

The only thing that might save him is an indictment... which we all know is a pipe dream, considering how corrupt and intertwined the culture of our wonderful Fed gov't is....

Perhaps they will have her show up on the Senate floor to be shamed in public?

Too late Bernie... you had your chance..

He wants that debate with Clinton...I'm sure he also wants her to believe he won't bring up the topic, so she'll agree to one.

At the same time, he said just enough to Maher to leave the door open to confronting her on it, should she not grant him a debate.

Sure he does.

But can you at least admit you just posted obvious, dishonest propaganda?

I agree...Bernie waited too long. He missed the boat.
His only hope is that Crooked Hillary's candidacy collapses under the weight of the FBI's recommendations.

I would if I thought so.

But you did post obvious inaccuracies from a source that did not properly quote Sanders/Mahers and used it to perpetuate a lie.

It's still too late for Bernie to think a Cali debate, and suddenly calling her out on what is now being reported by the MSM, as a path to winning the Dem nomination...

If he did so, when the Dems WERE debating, he just may have already secured the nomination himself...

The Dem's were so focused on "not" being contentious in their debates, to contrast from the GOP debates, that Bernie missed a very large hammer, he could have used, to put the Clinton campaign to rest...

Too late now... unless the DOJ chimes in. .02

I actually think Sanders will win California...especially after this week. Unfortunately for him, it won't be enough to stop her.
He probably won't get an opportunity to debate her after that.

Bernie is aware of her emails and how the stakes were raised recently but he still won't attack her on it and that's because he doesn't want to run a typical campaign of slinging mud. He leaves that crap to Trump.

Obviously the socialist is bought and paid for and is a complete shame. "Nothing damaging"? Lol! He skims over it like it was never even mentioned and goes on to say the same bs he has been saying since the get go. At least trump calls a spade a spade. I'm sick of these libtards covering each other's backs, they are all the same.

Incorrect. Sanders is using the Dem party for funds and especially for the airtime. So far , looks like in return he had to "toe the line" so to speak . But he has been given a little more "free reign" in the arena by Schultz and co.in the past couple of weeks.
Watch for Bernie to run as I in the Presidential Race before November .Perfect.
