That is an interesting point. I'm not sure why she would repeat that, it would be fairly obvious, especially to those who know her story.

It could be her fluffing up the act or it could be some insecurity she feels she always needs to address.

I am in no way versed in this stuff and have one anecdotal example to go off of, but I'm imagining a hollow point to the brain would significantly affect certain cognitive processes, possibly affecting self-image or creating a compulsive need to sound off obvious statements to appear to own the situation.

I don't think it is so much the message as it is the quality of vocalization that is being criticized here. The vocalizations of a woman who was shot in the head by a lunatic. I think she has grounds on which to speak, in fact, she has the high ground.

No one is saying she should be sympathized with though. But people ARE saying she is faking it to gin up sympathy and that claim is the issue.

We don't have to respect her positions for any reason, let alone she survived a gunshot. But we should respect her enough not to accuse her of faking the gunshot without proof.

This has to be the first ever example of a hollow point bullet causing a person to start talking like a 5 year old girl and use the exact same hand gestures all the time.. Oh, and the miraculous healing with no scar thing.

What would be shocking is someone taking a hollow point round to the head, surviving, and not having a speech problem.

THIS IS the evidence I speak of.

I haven't sought it out yet, waiting to be near a PC. BUT if you have examples handy of her being able to turn the impediment off and on, those would be greatly appreciated!

Otherwise, if I find anything like that tonight I will obviously share.


ETA: Hope it is clear I am not trying to be argumentative. The proof you claim is there simply hasn't been provided yet in this thread so that may explain the confusion.
