Add Alfred Budden Electric UFOs: fireballs, electromagnetics and abnormal states.

Im not putting mine on here because I've listed a load elsewhere.
That list is also subject to change.

The pile of stuff in my "in tray" is now becoming quite daunting.

Still looking for the Bob Pratt one at reasonable price. My wallets taken quite a sting from RFI stuff.
This is a very good place for remmendations OP, I've found people to be quite reliable.

Happy hunting.

I really enjoyed this book. Dr. Donderi is one who like me and many others feel that some ufo's are indeed extraterrestrial with et crews, and some "catch and release us," and also abduct to study us.

Greg Bishop's recently released a new book - www.lulu.com..." target="_blank" class="postlink">It Defies Language! I got it off Amazon. The link includes a way of ordering a signed copy for the same price in the US.

It's a cracking book of short essays he's written over the years. For anyone interested in the culture of ufology, as well as the ideas surrounding it, it's a worthwhile purchase.

He's one of the lesser-known names whose contributions have been part of the field since the 90s. The book goes well with Moseley's Shockingly Close to the Truth! Confessions of a Grave-Robbing Ufologist and Michael Swords' Grass Roots UFOs in reflecting the human, personal experiences of UFOs and ufology.

Thanks guys! Any other recommendations are welcome. I read books on my Nook, and unfortunately not all books are avaialble for it, I was really wanting to check out Ryan Skinner's books on Skinwalker Ranch as well, but only availabl n Kindle

Hey I have a nook too

Btw it’s possible to convert a non Nook format over to where you’re Nook could read it.

It’s kind of complicated but just Google how and it will tell you

In fact I brought a pretty good UFO book by Nick Redfern and had to do that...Its not easy but not impossible.

I took your recommendation and got the kindle version. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders. It appears it will be a good read.

Oh absolutely, I like Redfern, he’s a prolific writer who to me has taken up for John Keel.

The OP would be greatly served by checking out Keel’s books, Timothy Goods books and Redfern’s books.

Well the purchase of "It Defies Language" by Greg Bishop has already been useful.

I'm reading this section now:

"He told us about secret developments in the military world that later turned out to be true in order to get myself and others to listen to this UFO stories, which we really had no way of checking out". etc. etc.

It seems that this is a very common method used by government alphabet agencies to spread disinformation about UFOs.

What I find interesting, is that apparently this is the exact same thing that was done in our own ATS "A**** affair";
(internal experts were given military information to help sell a very silly UFO fabrication).

I"m enjoying the book.

If you're just getting in to the guy, you're lucky. He's walked the walk and retained a fairly open mind in the field. For more on the context of that quote, you might enjoy some of James Carrion's research since 2012. I personally wouldn't go as far as Carrion does, but he does offer food for thought wrt psy-ops and grand Intel schemes.

With regards to you-know-who, I can't comment

I don't want you to comment. I was talking past you on that matter.

As for being lucky...it is a good read. I like the guy. He's balanced.

I've read a lot of spy stuff already...Mirageman really has rubbed off on me.

I'm actually not interested in disinformation or UFOs really..never have been...it's just good background info for my actual interest...which is even more elusive than "UFOs".

I really enjoyed his bit on "the aviary". I already knew the basic truth on that..But didn't know that Greg and his partner had hatched the term.

Indeed.

It's only the misbehaving bits which are more easily visible...

The question is always why the attention seeking behavior?

That's what I've been researching for a while now.

Well that's my view.

7 billion humans means 7 billion vastly powerful and complex analog computers (our brains are analog computers, not digital) and something, besides our governments, has been attempting to 'computer virus infect us' for a very long time..

Thanks again! I downloaded a sample of Jacques Vallee's Dimensions, I may or may not actually purchase it. I'll investigate the others mentioned as well

I've been browsing a well known auction site doing a spot of light shopping and thought you may like to know that both Budden books are there and not too pricey.

Well worth adding to the collection.

Forgive my ignorance, but could you relay to me the meaning of 'corker(s)'? A second question: what single book/publication would you recommend? Thanks in advance!

Sorry Beef a "corker' of a book is English slang for a very good book and if I had to pick one then it would be 'UFOS AND GOVERNMENT - A Historical Inquiry' by Michael Swords, Robert Powell, Clas Svahn, Vicente-Juan Ballester Olmos, Bill Chalker, Barry Greenwood, Richard Thieme, Jan Aldrich, and Steve Purcell.

Also think Firestorm is a very important one.
