MSNBC Accidentally Refers to 'PRESIDENT Trump'.

MSNBC forgot to proofread one of their tweets before publishing on Thursday, resulting in the network accidentally referring to Donald Trump as president instead of President Barack Obama.

Whoever handles their Twitter account must be the network’s only Trump fan.

CNN's senior media correspondent Brian Stelter grabbed a screenshot of the tweet before MSNBC took it down and published a revised one.

They meant to say the following:

"President Obama says Trump's candidacy has "rattled" world leaders":

twitter.com...

Instead, they tweeted the following:

"President Trump says Trump's candidacy has "rattled" world leaders". The original was edited but someone was able to grab a screen shot:

twitter.com...

Which was it, an honest mistake or is there a Trump fan at MSNBC?

It was quickly rectified so probably an honest mistake.

But on the day it was announced that Trump has enough delegates for the GOP nomination, maybe they read the script too soon?

Or in this case off the tips.

So?

The twitter person (is that a thing?) may be a supporter...though it being MSNBC, I doubt it. He or she would have been weeded out by now...

Amusing, perhaps, but in the context of the world in general? Utterly meaningless, IMHO.

I am going to armchair analyze this faux pas. It was a Freudian slip. I think the Tweeter wanted to believe Obama's opinion of Trump really matters in helping persuade the public. But the Tweeter was in denial and knew that no one gives an eff what Obama thinks about Trump (or anything else) and they were just super-focused on tweeting something negative about Trump.

Also, it's MSNBC, so I surmise the tweeter was also eating Cheetos in his mom's basement and arguing with her about not doing his own laundry and being 32.

Given the mis-focus and distractions, Trump was the only name they managed to get out in the tweet.

I agree, Seagull should lighten up, have a big feed, eat some laxatives, then fly around the Beach for a while!

Oooh, nice...

Seagulls and laxatives...

...where do you park your car, again??

In my defense, I did find it an amusing slip, especially given that it was an MSNBC staffer who did it... It was funny.

Of course people care what Obama thinks, he is the President of the United States. If you feel no one cares what he says, you are sadly mistaken.

Now that is a conspiracy worth exploring!!

Could MSNBC actually be a covert wing of the Trump campaign??

I tried, I really, really did, but I couldn't help laughing...

Maybe, we are conspiracy theorists. But I am doubting it.

About two miles from the beach, however your mates beat you to it...every piggin' day. One car Anthracite grey with vertical white to brownish pinstripes, another Winter gold, also with vertical white to brownish pinstripes.
Thank you God so bloody much is my evening prayer!

I wonder how many 911 calls happened when people saw that.

I can only imagine the trembling and stammering.
