Sorry just had an idea and me been spiritual,
The sound of 2 glasses in the sink banged together but when I looked they where about 8 inches apart !

Onto the idea .

I was talking over tea with my gf and the subject came up ,
I have a bad appetite, she has a good one .

Imagine if everyone who had this or that .

I.E. Cancer , liver disease, army , violent , smokes , strokes , lived long , addicts , if everyone who wanted to unanimously filled in a basic card ie lottery where it's an say hundred tick boxes , and you sent of your dna,and somehow built a computer model that put it into a landscape of valleys and streams so we can visually see what's going on ?

I'm just trying to be a bit pro active
Instead of reactive.

Thoughts ?

Are you suggesting an infographic?

Your prose style is somewhat "stream of consciousness" and unclear.

I have longed for mid morning and afternoon break. Whatever happened to them?

Imagine no possessions, I wonder if you can? No need for greed or hunger... A brotherhood of man. Imagine all the people, sharing all the world...

I've read this thread three times, and I'm still at a loss as to what's going on here. Someone wanna clue me in?

I ran it through the mental filter that I use to weed through the same sorts of yack I get at meetings with military brass, the sort that leaves me with this blank look of quiet desperation and "I'm sorry, sir, I'm not quite following what you're asking for here" on me lips.

And what comes out is this..."Would it be of any efficacy if we took an absolutely huge survey of the populace, wherein they checked off their personal faults, both biological and behavioral, and submitted along with it a DNA sample. The object would be to correlate millions of surveys against their DNA, and then the surveys against each other, with the objective being to find DNA patterns that correlate strongly to smoking, mouth cancer, clumsiness and what not. The survey could be made in a machine readable card format not unlike a lotto form"

I came here because I've suffered from both
"army" and "long lived " most of my life..

Now if I could just get my DNA mapped out
so that it resembles an Earth landscape* I'll be set.

*Preferably Flat Earth

I think he wants a visual representation of the geographical placement of human labels.

Not sure how useful it'd be, though.

Perhaps he's suggesting a public XKeyscore. A surveillance catalogue, as far as I can tell.

Scary stuff.

Your skill is inspirational!

I really really like this idea. Although, I would never support it, because I wouldn't trust anyone to only use it for the good of mankind.
Maybe next millennia, maybe never..
