not long ago I saw a video someone shot of some jackass 'road rage' guy gunning his pick-em-up-truck and flipping off the driver he was passing - and then crashed. The driver in the 'offended' car laughed so hard!!!

Not for nothing but the douche driving the lead car should have gotten out of the left lane instead of acting like an asswipe too. They are both idiots.

Long hot bubble baths surrounded by scented candles, a good book, and Loreena McKennitt playing in the background.

Oh

And jammies...

Warm cozy flannel jammies and fuzzy slippers. And then sitting in the front veranda wrapped in a blanket with a cup of hot cocoa (with a splash of Bailey's Irish Cream for colour) and watching a bitterly cold Canadian blizzard whizzing past the house outside.

Thanks be to the cosmos for those silly little comforts in life.

Ah yes - jammie pants - the best invention since air conditioning!

Feeling warm and safe and cozy when a blizzard rages outside is a luxury indeed - we mustn't ever take it for granted!

My smart ass mouth or your smart ass mouth ?

We mustn't confuse our adoring fans, lest we cause a ripple in the space time continuum.

We can't have that... or can we? I would make all the Berenstain Bear people think that the actual spelling was "Alec Baldwin Bears" lol

My husband's smile.

After that, chocolate or gravy.

After that it gets complicated.

I had to go to a few posts on the second page to find something that resonates. I would like to qualify though:
1. Sex with my wife.
2. That's what gave me my family (wife and 3 boys)
3. Good food to share with them (solid grilled meat and fresh grilled vegies)
4. Good beer to wash that down.
5. And then sleep

The music would be of her choice. It could be romantic soft music or classical music, maybe solo piano music.

Glad you didn't say "Kenny G". ugghh..

I like Celtic music (Jeff and Michael Danna) for soft listening.
Can't abide "modern" classical, though. Real classical is good, symphonies/orchestras really can be moving. I used to be in symphonic band and full orchestras in school -

No to modern classical. I'm a real classical, symphony/orchestras listener because as you put it, can be moving. I completely agree with you.

I don't like Kenny G either.

It's all about being as romantic as possible. Escaping the race of life and spending a timeless moment between two people. Enjoying that moment, just to make another and another.

Oh. Kinda gaudy. Figures. LOL!!!

The nicest car I ever drove was a Porsche 911 Carrera. And I was drunk! My friend let me borrow it (he was drunk, too -- this was back in the mid-80s when I lived in the mountains in Breckenridge).....

Our boss had a Pantera - he thought he really was Batman!!

I did! For four seasons, back when it was practically still a dirt road connecting it to I-70. Now it's all built up and suburban-like. At the time it was a small town, there was one grocery store in the entire county (which includes Frisco, Silverthorne, Dillon, and Keystone). Hitch-hiking was the norm. And lots of partying. LOTS of partying.

Which brings up another favorite thing - a beautiful, sunny day skiing in fresh powder, then sitting on a deck enjoying spiked hot chocolate and watching the base of the mountain. Awesome stuff. When I lived there, I would go up to Swan Mountain Lookout (it looked out over Dillon Lake) - that was my meditation spot. Gorgeous.

I always felt at home there - even though I was born and raised in the Midwest, I never felt like it's "my home." The mountains - "my" mountains - felt like home.
