but because these days the definition of hate speech has shifted from analyzing whether or not someone was intending to be hurtful to whether or not someone felt hurt by what was said.

It's just one take on the situation though.

Have you looked at the threads by Conservatives lately or their comments all over the net? The whining and crying for safe spaces where no one can say mean things is leagues beyond anyone else... I suspect you know this.

A take?
It's exactly what happened. The threatened people and pushed out any media. The only speech they wanted was their own.
With that one example they told the entire country how they feel about freedom of speech.
These people want to do away with free speech. Using terms like "hate speech" to describe literally ANYTHING they don't agree with. They do it to anyone who displays remotely conservative views of any kind.
I've noticed that after 8 years of people complaining that they're not free to say what they want to say because some people are trying to take away they're freedom to speak - we're all still speaking.

Cis doesn't have to do with sexual orientation but gender identification. So, gay means someone attracted to their same gender/sex. Cis means that someone identifies themselves with the physical sex they apparently have, whereas trans means they don't.

I thought that one couldn't be gay and "cis" simultaneously, if "cis" is the gender expression of the biological sex one was born as? Anyway, good for them. Sounds like they're rising above. Great stuff...

First they turn on everyone else then they turn on eachother, such is the nature of this victimization disease.
I think people here know very well that calling people haters and bigots is one of the fastest ways to shut down a real conversation.
