And this makes a pretty good point why it can't be a hoax, or how would he have access to the old cisterciensier dating table, the easter table?

More speculation makes a point why it can't be a hoax?

So, your op is speculation backed up by speculation which is backed up by more speculation.

Why don't you answer my question?

And it is speculation based on artifacts. Which is how archeology works...

I don't need to. All you've offered is speculation. There's no evidence to dissect or rebutt.

If öhman hoaxed it how did he have access to the cisterciensier easter table?
Who built the newport tower and who planted oaks on oak island? They are not endemic there you know.

You know that this was "discovered" in 1898? That's PLENTY of time to find out information and make a hoax.

The tower is easily explained as an old windmill. It even has the evidence of it being such.

What's so special about the table?

And trees? Really? There were trees of similar size nearby that were dated around 10-20 years before the stone was found.

your X is a Greek K (Chi) and the P is an R (Rho) as in the Chi Rho ligature used for Christ below:

Part true though, Rosicrucians used Greek mixed with Latin and English or German to transmit coded messages. You see it a lot in Shakespeare and with Bacon, seemingly odd typos or geometrical (dis-)placements hinting to certain things like star constellations and their parallell map references on Earth.

I strongly suggest you be careful when pursuing the holy grail. You might come across the Knights that say NI, and there are no more shrubbery s.

NI !! NI!!!

I believe you're wrong. And I really don't need to convince you. The tower was no windmill. There are other indications, like inspiration point another rune tablet at the coast and so on.

We are talking about 1362 not 1898. Trees.

a reply to: Utnapisjtim

No it's not.

Yet it was sent to translators and found that the language used on the tablet wasn't the same as the language used pre-1500.

There are so many faults with the stone that it shouts hoax.

The trees roots it was "found entangled in" were dated around 1870-1880.

It's a phantastic story.
The writing could be off because someone just used it for the only reason that runes are easier to cut in stone than latin letters. Of course there would be mistakes.

The fact that someone planted the trees over the place where the tablet was hidden 1362 strongly suggests to me that it wasn't öhman. He hid it there 1880 to dig it up 18 years later? Nope.

Yeah. Quite literally.

It has errors compared to other carved texts that are of the time. There's no getting away from that.

But you're basing your "he dug it up" on his word. Anyone can say they dug something up.

Yes, it's called linguistic science. And it has proven a zillion times that Pentecostal tongues is nonsense and is similar to what, articulate laughter og expressions of extatic madness.

And the stone has acid traces from the tree roots on it, so it was definitely under earth under a tree.

You know that that can be easily faked aswell.

I know you're trying to justify your claim, but it's only been verified as a fake. Sorry.

I am a bit confused, Christ was not wealthy, the disciples. We're not wealthy.
Israel was heavily taxed by Rome, what's this holy grail.

Do you really think it's a cup of gold with a giant ruby, diamonds and other bling or a clay cup like every other Jewish home had

This holy grail is fantasy, some made up relic like the shroud of Turin to suck people who need idols into worshiping

It's not fake. But I can live with it, if you and many others just don't want it to be true. Who knows maybe we live long enough for someone to find the treasure.
But then you and others will probably say that it's a hoax too...

Could also be the ark, hidden in New Jerusalem.

Who wouldn't want it to be true? It would be amazing if it was true. Sadly, it's not.

Who knows maybe we live long enough for someone to find the treasure.
Or find the hiding place of unicorns?

But then you and others will probably say that it's a hoax too...
If it is found to be true and the treasure found, I will eat my hat. I only have one so I'd be a bit upset.

Agree to disagree.
Keep your hat ready. I want a video from you eating it, if it is found during our lifetimes.
