No, you don't want to admit that we still know very little about the nature of reality because then you would also have to admit that you have no real reason to ridicule this theory.

That is what is obvious and stupid.

In this timeline you can say that. But, in my original timeline, the one I remember as a child of 4 to 6, it was all known and understood. Too bad it was all scrubbed to make way for this timeline. Makes me wonder if that was the original start of this effect. Once it was known how to truly understand and manipulate space-time, even in minor increments, the first line of business WOULD be to cover one's tracks. That way, nobody can look back and see who could be responsible.

Doesn't that make sense, or at least a proper theory?

Ok, so you feel that the ME is validated then?

If you consider an absolutely ridiculous scenario as validation, then I guess so.

You said it had the same level of validation as your theory, which you claimed you were serious about........

Son, let me teach you about sarcasm............

Yes, I was serious in the fact that my Kenmore scenario is just as ridiculous as Mandela. I was just making a point.

IMO, The "Kenmore Effect" makes more sense since it does elude to the group of someone(s) responsible for all of this confusion. The "Seers", or that group of people responsible for starting the Sears Company. A company, I might add, has been around for over 100 years! Plenty of time to begin to manipulate the timeline to their advantage....or for kicks.

Christmas is overdone. It was suppose to be presents for children not parents or adults unless necessary(say homeless, or the poor). They do the dinner. Now it has turned into an annoyance. With over produced and useless products. Do you think they gave plastic toys in the past? No. The amount of greenhouse gases used to make those toys are over the top.

You just summed it up beautifully.

Bravo!

Could someone who knows more about the theory please explain some things to me? I'm genuinely fascinated at how genuinely fascinated people are with it.

It seems to me that if something completely ubiquitous were changed, no one would be arguing that it happened.

Are thosewho don't notice from the new timeline, and that's why they don't remember?

What purpose does changing such trivial things serve? The only reason I could think of would be just to mess with people's heads. Or, if those insignificant things that changed were just a by-product of something bigger happening, what is that bigger thing?

I love entertaining the idea of alternate timelines but there's just nothing juicy here for me to chew on, unless I'm missing something.

This just goes to show how "smart" you are. That poster is clearly also joking. He even said "Kenmore APPLIANCES" talking about the washing machine. Jeez.

Who's joking? I'm dead serious. My Kenmore theory carries as much validation as the Mandela.

You really think I didn't know you were being sarcastic? My point is that right there you said you were being serious. So something doesn't add up, and you know it, because you responded to my post for a second time when you realised it.

Are you sure about that?

Did it really happen?

Is this just another case of the ME?

In this timeline? Pretty much as I'm cooking.

In my original timeline? Pretty much as I couldn't be bothered.

In a completely unrelated timeline? ME was never a thing so we would have never conversed over it.

No, the theory is that those who remember differently, shifted to this timeline, in which things always were the way they are now.

Or there's the more rational theory that doesn't make you look like you've made bread from tinfoil shavings......

Confabulation.

In this timeline, maybe, but in my original timeline I was really annoying.
