So you don't find it all disturbing that one of his fundamental positions, him not taking money from any special interest, is now no longer the case?
Crazy how right he was when he said it doesn't matter what he says or does, his followers don't care.

Don't worry he's going to build that wall. Oh wait no. Well he's gonna ban terrorist Muslims...oh well that was just a suggestion.
But it's gonna be great. You know what it is he thinks will make America great again? Him being president. Simply that.

Or is the expectation Trump is supposed to cover the tab for the entire party in addition to his primary campaign?
The money coming in now isn't to pay off Trump and attempt to put him in place as the GOP nominee. That's where much of the corruption would come.

Trump did fund his own campaign through the primaries.
That's quite different than an expectation he fund the entire republican party against the democratic party in the general election. It's no longer about Trump the individual. It's about the party.

FactCheck.org disputes Trump’s claims, pointing out that his 2015 year-end filing in January shows $19.4 million in campaign income, with $12.6 million of that coming in via candidate loans. Thus, approximately one-third of his campaign funds have arrived via donations. The year-end filing shows $1.6 million in itemized individual contributions and another $4.9 million in unitemized ones.
It is also important to remember that as the bulk of Trump’s campaign contribution is in loans instead of donations, link
