America has more people in prison per ca pita than any other nation on Earth.

BULL and CRAP.

I don't think you know what per capita means in comparison to other countries.

I don't think others get they are pushing a false equivolency since NO two countries are the same.

When two things are the SAME.

As in the same socioeconomics.

The same legislative, and judicial process's .

They might be compared.

Apples to oranges.

The ONLY numbers that matter is that one from the BJS.

This is his way, he spins the facts to support his conservative views. Nothing new to see here.

And it was BILL CL"INTON that created three strikes and your out.

And it was FDR,JOHNSON,and the current guy that created gun control and the future nominee doing the same.

That put's MORE people in prison.

And the same people that are currently doing that is pushing that CLIMATE CHANGE crap that puts MORE people in prison.

And we sure the snip can forget about ALL the financial LAWS created by the same people that put MORE people in PRISON.

So you were saying?

You want to know why he is doing such? It is simple, he wants to not only keep his job, but also take a shot at the next office. That is why he is talking like that. Though I think that if he were ever busted for such, he would not be so happy and would want to change the laws.

And this why I don't take you seriously and that's because you only demonize Democrats and never Republicans. Hate to break to ya, but Republicans are just as guilty, if not more, as seen with Cotton here. But you're right about one thing, politicians in general, both Democrats and Republicans, need to stop creating harsh laws to incarcerate people for long periods of time and finally they are taking actions against mandatory minimums but here we Cotton going against this progressive move.

Private prisons also need to be abolished, as well as money influencing politicians.

If anyone should be called out in the prison population it's the 'liberals'.

Since they are the ones that have created the most criminals here.

Hell between financial LAWS and GUN CONTROL.

Yes, because this is your way, as seen in the your original post. You always do this while demonizing only Dems and never Repubs. It's not a pot shot, its just a fact. And here you are again blaming ONLY Dem's. Shocking.

It's GD fact that we both know who has criminalized gun ownership.

And they have also criminalize having 'too' much money.

True I slam the LEFT.

Because they DESERVE it more than anyone.

Feel free to IGNORE what they have done.

I expect it.

Gun ownership isn't criminalized? Nobody's going to jail because of climate change. Where do you get this stuff?

He needs a solid punch, a good one that knocks out a few of his teeth.

That what pricks like him who use people as slaves deserve, at the very least.

It's only a GD fact in your conservative mind.

It's a GD fact that you only demonize the left and never the right. When you defend Bush and Cheney I know there is no hope for you.

I don't ignore the Dem's or Repub's. Both political parties are completely corrupt and DC needs to be revamp with new untainted blood that isn't bought out by the wealthy. Both will be slammed.

If only I could buy you a beer and have it delivered to your doorstep. Although, I condone the violence but being that you are a boxer, or MMA fighter, I completely understand your perspective!

Actually, maybe that's possible? What's your favorite drink?

Fail to see what that had to do with anything.

That doesn't have anything to do with your topic.

lol I see the neos are getting riled up again and doing their thread drifting drama...

You haven't addressed the OP in any of your posts, lets try again.

Do you believe the US is under-incarcerated as Cottom claims, over incarcerated as others in this thread believe, or do you think it's just right. Please provide your reasoning for your answer.

Disgusting, people like this monster are enemies of the American people and should be cast out of office and shamed into hiding. Lets bring back tar and feathers!!! For those looking for his connections to the private prison cartels you probably haven't found them because he more than likely takes his bonuses under the table in little manilla envelopes then puts the money in offshore accounts as scumbags such as this are known to do.

1) hes likely been brought and paid for by the private prison company lobby.

2) hes constituency consists of the derp derp crowd.

So let me get this straight. ....... you think it is ok for politicians be be brought?

Also mr blame only one side the stats disgree with you.

stats

The rate started to increase dramatically under reagan (a republican ) and continued under Bush I (republican ) and Clinton (democrat ) before leveling out under Bush II (republican ).

Seems to be the Republicans have just as much blame in this.

Hell, the USA has better cops than other countries.

Don't like prison? Don't break any laws.

Mandatory mins? Sure, like this guy needed and the judge too.
