Have You Heard Of The Doppelgänger Theory ?

Howdy folks,

Well I just came across a theory called "The Doppelganger Theory ". As per the theory, there is a myth :
A person who lives in somewhere got the same appearance with you, yet he is having an opposite lifestyle instead. The question is, are they sharing the same soul? Or are they just an imagination? This myth also has an ending: When they meet each other, either one of them will die!

I'm I am keen to know your thoughts about it.

ive heard of the theory that in a multiverse, there are an infinite number of each of us.

See my signature at the bottom, that is actually a real story in my life.

I meet a guy who looked exactly like me, we stood and stared at each other for a few seconds, before we agreed that "it was like meeting your self", had some beers together became friends for a short while, after that we never saw each other again.

Interesting meet.

I dont think its really a "theory". Thats entirely the wrong word. Reality is more like it. They say somewhere in the world, there is someone just like us...a twin so to say. Even several of them....

Once, at a traffic light, I looked into my rearview car mirror and saw a couple looking EXACTLY like my wife with me, sitting in the same position, same hair and size, looks like us both....sitting behind us in another car!

No, it wasnt a reflection, because the one thing that WAS different was their clothes. It was so unreal it was SURREAL!
Exactly like us. Couldve been our twins. Dopplegangers!

There are many published stories going back a few hundred years all over the internet. Just search.

Yup it's real.
Yet i find it hard to believe someone as sexy as myself exists somewhere

I also have heard we are clones of ourself and there is another person doing the same think we are doing right now. Scary!

Have you ever heard of the photographer François Brunelle? Take a look...he searches the world for doppelgangers. I think you can upload a pic to him and he will find yours...then he has you come to sit for a portrait

Also check out twin strangers a site that finds your doppelganger. Some freaky lookalikes that really could be twins but are complete strangers.

Several times people have said they saw me in a different location, where I know I definitely was not. We all like to think we are unique, but there is only so much variation possible in the human face.

It fascinates me how we recognise people so quickly, was thinking of doing a thread on it.

I've frequently been mistaken for "that bitch" that some chick's ex-boyfriend is dating. Different chicks, different boyfriends. It's my lot in life I guess. LoL!

As as far as finding someone who looks just like you or someone you know, people have met them, talked to them and they are normal. I find the better term for doppelgänger has a paranormal connotation. They are the ones that might just be paranormal entities, apparitions, etc. Known to be found in the shadows with ill intent that appear to be a human that you know or a mirror of yourself.
