Well, Enoch is Hanock, Ha is a titular The in Hebrew so if nck or nock means a title I wouldn't be surprised.

There is an Enoch before this Enoch in the bible and he was from the line of Cain. There are also Enosh and Enos I believe. Elijah and Elisha have names beginning with E if they all revert to the Ha sound I think it could be the mark of a sage. Hermes is sometimes seen as a forerunner of Jesus because they are both called son of man and shepherd of man and say similar things to the extent early Christian fathers read his works with the view that they were inspired. I heard Europe had a Hesus and they made it Jesus to please the pagan and in Greek its Ioesus. Buy the Greek is the way they translate Yeshua in the Septuagint also so no foolery there.

I'm trans. I believe in having justice in the heart. Foolish men believe that they can fathom to name the nameless & formless.

And just who is claiming to know the name of the Creator. The Originator or Uncreated One has no one to name him. The child doesn't name the parent, and the Father/Mother Creator doesn't even need a name.

So if you have no ancestors and are the first in the universe you don't have anyone to name you.

So The Most High has infinite names and zero names.

They struggled at times following after the secret knowledge and strange fire of other gods. It is recorded and anyone can read it in a Bible plain as day. Except it is also recorded that the story was the God YHWH was not happy with them worshipping false gods because he is real and his way was good for his people, not the other gods ways. He looked at Israel like his bride, and their idolatry as adultery. This adultry of mixing other religion's magik, mysticism, knowledge is the reason why historically it is confusing to understand if you look from a secular perspective, what their religion consisted of in the past. More confusing is it, because much of the mysticism and gnostic belief is practiced today. Many new age practices and belief systems use Jewish mysticism mixed in with whatever else. This is in fact at the core of the discussion. One group of people accept the God presented in the Bible and his plans and ways which are total opposite of most religions, or you disbelieve what is in the Bible, and make your own understanding of it. Made me lol. Actually, Nimrod is recorded in the Bible as being a mighty hunter. He was historically a king. His name as far as I can tell, was first used in a comedic way as being interchangeable with an idiot, by a one Mr. Bugs Bunny. When the hapless hunter Elmer J. Fudd encountered Bugs, Bugs would sarcastically call him Nimrod. So pop culture asopted the name Nimrod to mean idiot. ]

Talmud and Zohar are the core of Judaism today and they are far from monotheistic by any definition. The average person just isn't going to read 50 books the size of the bible and figure it out.

Call them angels but that's semantics, Seraphim, Cherubim, Ophanim are just lesser gods and have personalities and powers.

And you have the 72 Chief Spirits of the Kabbalah veiled as the 72 names of God but are not names they are distinct spirits, gods.

Metatron is called the lesser Shaddai and sits behind the throne and is Enoch in heaven as head of all angels.

This is not what the Bible records at all. The Bible and the story of Israel is in direct opposition to this viewpoint of their history and religion. It matters not how large any book or any writing is, but rather what truth is. Jesus summed up the law the the prophets in just two ideas. 1. Love YHWH (of the Old Testament) with all your being. 2. Love your neighbor as yourself.

Watch Dr. Michael Heiser on youtube, start with part 1 of "Unseen Realm Seminar" and pay close attention to him with an open mind, regarding Elohim and the gods. It might help you understand that whether you are right or wrong, there is indeed another scholarly viewpoint other than your own, that may be true. Is Dr. Heiser right? Am I right? Are you right? Who knows for sure other than there is evidence for both viewpoints, but I'll bet my life on that Jesus of Nazareth is the one true Messiah and he will be back after the false messiah comes and deceives many. There are (just) two paths you can go by, but in the long run, there's still time (today) to choose the road you are on. Very soon, these two paths will be apparent to ALL in the world, and the choice will need to be made with no time left on the clock.

I do not necessarily agree with EVERYTHING Dr. Heiser also believes, but this is inconsequential to the concept of the story of the Israelites, their God, the Messiah Jesus, and the end of this age presented in Revelations. In these matters I agree. There are petty differences that any person who reads his Bible will understand do not matter. I will be happy to discuss difficult questions regarding this if anyone wishes. Dr. Heiser is worth a watch and to really listen to, he is really an expert in the ancient world including other ancient religions and languages of the Levant.
