Consciousness slowly and hesitantly started to return. The world was spinning and quite, a metallic taste lingered in his mouth. As his vision steadied Travis realized he was in total darkness, an incessant ringing in his ears.

He began to panic! The last thing he remembered was the hand...reaching for him. Using his hands he began to search around himself, spinning in a circle to make sure no one was behind him. His nerves began to calm.

"Focus on what you know" he told himself.

He was in the dark, he awoke on his feet, he appeared to be alone...but wait, the girl!

" anyone there?...miss?" He called.

He hoped at once that she did and didn't respond. With no response given he decided to move, but to where wnd why? Partially convinced he was facing the same direction as when he awoke Travis began moving forward, hands out. After what felt like hours but was probably only five minutes his hand made contact with the wall. He found the wall moist and as he shifted weight to trace it, maybe find a door, his hands slipped he bounced off the wall and landed face first in the dirt of the floor. Climbing to his feet while spitting out the coppery tasting dirt Travis thought he heard a sound.

"Hello!" He called again "Is that you miss?"

His back to the wall, staring into the darkness, Travis thought he saw a shimmer. He tried to focus on the spot but his mind was becoming fuzzy.

"Miss if you can hear me call out!" He yelled. The response he got was not what he wanted.

"SHE cannot enter." A voice boomed "YOU are alone."
