I think that Chris Christie has been following Trump around lately because he wants the job.
With Trump's unpredictability i wouldn't be shocked if he picked a celebrity or even one of his kids to be his VP.

It's not the running mate who's important. It's the Chief of Staff.

I believe he is going to wait until the convention and then announce his choice. So right now we can only sit and wait.

If he's smart he'll choose an individual with excellent diplomatic skills, is fiscally budget conscious and who places priority upon the constitution as the fundamental cornerstone of governance.

Trump is unpredictable so my bet is on an outsider of some description - but someone whose credentials match or surpass current party hopefuls.
