That would be a no. And don't forget, NASA lies about everything.

But youtube never lies, so I was hoping we would get some more of the truth from youtube.

yes.. why did the Curiosity mission to mars not take a picture of Earth halfway before reaching Mars..? Or any other deepspace mission for that matter...

Like, in the rear view mirror, gees.

the earth photo taken from the "moon" is also questionable. the fact that you dont see stars gives it away.

According to Electro-Optics Handbook, RCA (1974):

Sun illuminance at zenith and surface of the earth (will be higher in outer space) is 12.4 x 10^4 lm/m^2 . (p.63)

Sirius star illuminance outside of the earth's atmosphere is 9.80 x 10^-6 lm/m^2 (magnitude -1.42).
(Transmission of the atmosphere for an object observed at the zenith is approximately 79%). (p.66)

So a question for such clever genius like you: Do you know any optical system that can capture in a single shot an image having a dynamic range of 10 orders of magnitude, be it human eye, CCD, photographic film, vacuum tube camera ???

Such dynamic range, if possible, would probably be plagged by the Raman scatter from the optical lens of the assy. Not to mention the slightest microscopic contamination on those lenses reducing contrast...

ETA: Bonus: If we use Moon avg albedo of 0.12, we reduce to 9 orders of magnitude!

it was hardly a serious Q&A sessions. People were asking him questions like "whats it like to masturbate in space" and other similar nonsense.

I have to ask why, are you an ex NASA employee that has a bone to pick with them?

Lmao no. Millions of people are questioning nasas claims. That doesnt mean they have a bone to pick.

No millions aren't...just a few conspiracy theorists are, such as yourself.

And yes if they think NASA is lying they do have a bone to pick with them...the bone is they think NASA is lying with pictures of Earth.

The Curiosity rover was tucked up inside the MSL spacecraft.

Closed for review.

This is because the OP has declined to provide sources to back their claims.

The science forums require sources/evidence and facts when taking a strong position.

This thread is now closed.
