I want real news. If I hear Purple Rain one more time.

I realize msm doesn't cover real news that often but this whole Prince coverage is ridiculous. Yeah Prince made some great music and by all accounts he sounds like he was a great guy but ...

There are real news stories all over the world that aren't being covered right not. Every channel I turn to its Prince this and paisley park that. Two days of non stop news anchors talking to anyone who knew Prince. Former managers , ex girlfriends of Prince and music critics. Anyways ATSers that's my rant.

The coverage is for the dumb masses.

You can get your news fix via other sources.

You are on the internet. Try there!

Turn off the MSM, many people have. This is why their ratings suck.

I realize that. I do however like to see how they are spinning certain issues and stories. I just keep it on for background noise while I get other news online. But all I'm hearing is Prince Prince Prince.

First off name calling isn't necessarily the best way to get your point across.

Yes Prince was a very influental musician. Extremely talented. I have no issues with him at all. Great member of the community. I'm just tired of the way it's covered. Same thing over and over and over. It has nothing to do with making me small. It's the fact that there are bombs being dropped sonewhere. Cops in your country have shot and killed at least 2 people today statistically. That's my issue.

For the record. When he performed While My Guitar Gently Weeps in tribute to Harrison he blew my mind. I mean that was some of the rawest guitar talent I have ever seen bar none.
