That's all you've got is one vague verse. I'm not surprised you keep clinging to it. But hey when the bible said " you set the earth upon it a foundations" then it contradicts your little verse anyways. One part of the book says it hangs on nothing the other part says it is set upon foundations. Can't have it both ways.

"He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing"

Which means "He" hangs the earth over or on nothing. Not that the earth isn't hanging.

ETA: The International Standaed version says it even better. "He spreads out the north over empty space, suspending the earth over nothing"
