May I ask if you're voting for Mrs. Clinton?

I am not. While everyone is rushing to the polls to vote for their clown of choice, I will be sitting-back enjoying a glass of scotch, playing a fine Spanish guitar...watching the US vote against it's own self-interests once again.

Also, I did not throw around any silly accusations, it was there in the link posted by the OP.

I didn't accuse you. It was a general statement.

So why do you defend someone who laughs about putting a pervert back into society to abuse more victims? ~$heopleNation

I have not defended her whatsoever on that particular topic.

Try again.

some democrats on ATS need to get a backbone, and stand up for what they believe. as you, as well as i have noticed, there are no limits to what the right will say to strike fear and suspicion into people that ARE NOT right-wing enough, whether it's true or not.

I agree. Leftists have been beaten down so much they many seem afraid to be vocal about their political beliefs. It also doesn't help that the Right Wingers travel in gangs around here. Us lefties are not that close-knit of a group. We do our own thing.

that has been the modus operandi of the right-wingers here on ATS since i signed up in 2007....back then for the first couple of months, i used to do the research to see if what they said was true. consequently, i now believe everything they say is false, misleading, or simply leaving out part of the real story.

I may be joining you.

I have to switch state residency.

Not really sure I want to register. Puts you on the jury pool.

I didn't even bother changing my party affiliation to vote in the primaries. Not excited about any candidate whatsoever. While I may be a socialist, Bernie does not impress me and I think he is wrong about a few things.

And while it may be an inconvenience, I don't mind serving jury duty. It's a simple service we can do to play our part as citizens.

I actually lean socialist, but the whole world is in upheaval right now. The timing is just wrong.

There's some major transitioning we have to go through globally IMO, before we can start settling down again.

Bernie? What took him so long? He could have been a running mate with Gore at a time it might have made a difference - - before we went all crazy Right Wingo Theocracy.

EDIT: backing out - - straying too far.

I've always wondered what would a system in which congress/senate seats were chosen at random from a pool of people who have met certain education requirements. It would be similar to jury duty.

"Aw man, I got selected to serve in the senate! You know they never let you off the hook for this!"

Now that would be interesting - although we'd then have to worry about rigging the random selection!

That's not something I've ever thought of. Interesting.

Considering how we live our lives in general, I would think a system like that would have to be limited to the local levels. Also, I don't know if I'd want my government to be at the whim of ignorant douchebags that got a bachelors degree in keg stands at the state U.

You've really opened a can of worms for me...let's talk about this later.

c'mon....look, i would love to vote for Bernie, but have you considered how affective a Jewish socialist would be in any negotiations with middle eastern countries?.....and regarding Wall Street and how Bernie is going to raise their taxes...those boys don't play around, these days, "capital" can move from one country to another with a click of a mouse button....they wouldn't care how many millions of Americans would lose their jobs, so long as they protect their own assets by moving it offshore. look up "inversions" at any financial website, and you will see they don't give a damn about America if they can save a few percentage points in taxes...and of course you have republican majorities in congress (hopefully that will change) that will treat Bernie to the same crap that Obama has been getting for the last 7 years.......i look at republicans (these days anyway) as if they are junk-yard dogs....they are extremely effective when they are on a thick chain long enough to protect the junk-yard, but if they are released, they will rip up anyone, innocent or guilty, that happens to be in their way. please go vote, that goes for everyone here.

Well you certainly know how to enjoy yourself intro, and I can't blame you for feeling that way, that is for sure. I will be happy when this election is over so I can go disappear back into the Space Exploration threads. ~$heopleNation

Then you should!

but have you considered how affective a Jewish socialist would be in any negotiations with middle eastern countries?

Really with HRC's speech at AIPAC, her citing Kissinger as a source for her foreign policy, not to mention they ME leaders know HRC.

.....and regarding Wall Street and how Bernie is going to raise their taxes...those boys don't play around, these days, "capital" can move from one country to another with a click of a mouse button

And this is possible from the lack of tariffs and controls brought into play through trade policies, like the ones the Clintons supported.

....they wouldn't care how many millions of Americans would lose their jobs, so long as they protect their own assets by moving it offshore. look up "inversions" at any financial website, and you will see they don't give a damn about America if they can save a few percentage points in taxes

They have never quit taking jobs and assets out of the US of A, so you want to vote in someone to make this easier?

...and of course you have republican majorities in congress (hopefully that will change) that will treat Bernie to the same crap that Obama has been getting for the last 7 years

Like the Rep's love Hilley, Sen Sanders has a much better record on working with the R's in congress.

.......i look at republicans (these days anyway) as if they are junk-yard dogs....they are extremely effective when they are on a thick chain long enough to protect the junk-yard, but if they are released, they will rip up anyone, innocent or guilty, that happens to be in their way. please go vote, that goes for everyone here.

Funny I feel Trump is a better choice then HRC!

Everyone harping on her defense of the paedophile. What really gets me is Qaddafi. Under a white flag approved by her he was leaving the country. Under a war instigated by her, for many financial reasons (as disclosed in her email, having nothing to do with him killing his own people). And then forces supported by her and Washington as "moderate rebels" betray the white flag, attack, anally rape him with a knife, murdering him in the most horrific manner, and she thought that was jokeworthy as well.
"We came, we saw, he died!! Ha-ha!"
edit on 20-4-2016 by pexx421 because: Niceing it up

Nothing like joking about a man who had to watch his children die, see everything he struggled for destroyed, and then die by sharp metal sodomization, all in a war you started to secure political gain and capital donations, to show what a kind, humane person you are.

I am outraged that anyone would accuse "Her Grace" of such a thing!!!
Her and Bill are political icons they are above such things.Just like those unfounded rumors about W.'s family stealing the election in 2000 and 2004.

In the end I want my great great grandchildren to know their grandmother worked to help elect America's first woman president. It's important to me.

Cool.

I've actually followed her for a long time too. I was curious if there were going to be any complaints about her in the senate. She was actually well liked, and impressed others with her intelligence, dedication, and focus.

She was well liked because she drew in millions in contributions for the party. Most "lawmakers" spend half their time soliciting contributions. Watched a 60 minutes segment on the whole process. Very interesting.

NO

I read/listened to individuals from both sides who worked directly with her.

Not major media. And had nothing to do with soliciting for money.

Ok you are going off track I said she makes a lot of money for democrats. Why wouldn't you, as a democrat member, want her to win . She brings in a ton of money. You structure your arguments well but they are flawed in that you misdirect a lot. Its actually for a basic enlargement structure developed from Goebbels, a Nazi propaganda head. He pioneered this type of stuff and all people like you use it.

Yeah, Clinton doesn't qualify as human any more as far as I'm concerned. My eyes have lost the ability to see her as a living thing. She is a string of code, a program, a virus.

Let me know when you have actual factual proof.

The constant accusations without backup are getting boring.

Not sure if this is what you wanted. Seems to be a lot of scandal around the clintons

Me?

Your original response was a response to my response to someone else.

Neither of the original posts had zero to do with her soliciting contributions.

You went off on your own tangent.

Nope.

When I started in online forums over 20 years ago there was a site called "Bush Bones".

Very detailed and conspiratory about the Bush Dynasty. Much more interesting then the Clintons.

Nothing came of any of it. As I expect nothing will come of the Clinton conspiracies.

Back to you.

Carry on.
