Peaceful pix for a rainy day...Include recent Solar Eclipse

hi ATS folks....

i hope alls well with everyone....but i know it isnt...

Earthquakes...drought/famine...Wars....

and now its also raining here...on a Sunday afternoon...!!!

anyway...i thought it might cheer someone up if i share some of my recent pix....

i went to Indonesia in March...for the first time...

i stayed at the island called TERNATE...in the northern SPICE islands...

it was beautiful...but a crazy place...200,000 people live there

this is Ternate...



it is one big ACTIVE volcano...MT GAMALAMA....

this next pic is MT TIDORE...famous in Indonesia...it is on the 1000 rupiah banknote...



the view is from Ternate....just across the water...
Mt Tidore is the cone shaped mount in the backround behind the smaller island called Maitara...

Anyways...i only went to this place to photograph the recent TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE...March 9
