Early today ATS member Flyingclaydisc posted the thread below:-

www.abovetopsecret.com...

This got me thinking. Why was there no film taken from The Apollo 11 orbiter of the LEM actually descending to the moon surface.
If it was filmed from the orbiter i can't recall ever seeing it.

Answers anyone ?

My guess would be that it wasn't there to see it. The command module was orbiting and didn't even have constant radio communication with the LEM.

Google is an excellent resource.
Have you used it before?

Many times.

However, please direct me to a source showing The LEM leaving the orbiter and heading to the moon.
I will await with baited breath

I have seen footage of the lunar module leaving the orbiter, but can't remember if it was 11 or one of the other lunar missions.

Google could give you the answer to that question. It could also answer the question as to why it may not exist.
I know it's complicated to understand.

So your answer is there is no film of the decent taken from the orbiter.

What a surprise.

I can't see The Moon in that footage.

That could have been taken in Earths orbit.

Here's another video, jump to the 2:00 mark:

Also, this link has a video of the Apollo 11 CMM rotating and docking with the LMM while in above the Earth on it's way to the moon:

No, the above post seems to have proven you wrong, again.
What a surprise.
Bye now.

Do you mean the highly edited footage showing The LEM keeping pace with the orbiter without descending ?

Yea right.

Those who run away usually have no answers. Keep on running.

Get lost.

It's up to you to prove your bizarre men-never-went-to-the-Moon claim to us, not for us to prove anything to you. Who cares what you believe?

Your not the full shilling are you ?
