There's a place in Chelsea NYC called trailer park. They have a drink there called jim bobs IQ. The idea is you will be as smart as Jim bob after you drink it. It is anti-freeze blue and contains everclear, white rum and other horrible mind numbing alcohols. It's 18 bucks. I love it. It does the job. ‎It's like having your brains smashed out by a slice of lemon wrapped............

Christ man, why do you think I don't come to ATS much anymore. Unless you keep me pickled drunk on your recipes, mama needs to get her medicine elsewhere.

Here you go.

Another pre-Prohibition drink similar to the Perfect Manhattan (equal parts dry and sweet vermouth) that gets a nice kick of flavor from the maraschino liqueur and Amaro, the Brooklyn:

2 ounces rye
3/4 ounce dry vermouth
1/4 ounce Luxardo maraschino liqueur
1/4 Ramazotti Amaro
cocktail cherry for garnish

Stir all ingredients over ice until well chilled. Pour into a chilled coupe and garnish with cherry.
