Southwest loves to make it difficult like that.

There are -300's with 737 Next Generation-style winglets, older Next Gens wearing the new livery, newer Next Gens with the split scimitars rocking the old livery, it's all one big mess.

That is funny. I think the both of them are looking at each other with magnifying glasses to see what the other one is doing and whatever is market "trendy" for one or the other.

United has been putting them on as fast as they can. Alaska is starting to as well.

The AA MD-8x? Those are getting rarer and rarer...

My other guess would be the Delta "Boeing 717", as in the McDonnell Douglas built by Boeing owned by Southwest and flown by Delta?

The Delta. It's a 717-200 they got from AirTran.

So since I have decided to indulge in my hobby of plane spotting, I have managed to find the best places to get pictures, completely by accident. We had to wait outside our customer today, and were standing under the final approach path to Atlanta airport. I've got some amazing pictures this time. I'll post them tomorrow after I get up.

Plz do, I was looking up at a galaxy coming in to dobbins low and slow over 75 yesterday and was wishing I had a good camera.

These are just a few of the ones I took. You really don't want to know how many pictures I have in the full album, from a little over an hour.
