Trump now polling at or above 50% in next primary states

New York...Connecticut....Pennsylvania....he is approaching or is over 50%. Over 60% in a new NY poll. The final big state will be California which shows both candidates on a rise but other than that the field is open.

He is even in a PA FOXNews Poll...he is there when everyone said it would never happen. There may be others that show him killed but this is showing a turn in opinion. The one showing they are tied is some just last week.

Why will the GOP not unite and simply crush the DNC? (this is of course rhetorical....)

He still has as chance to get the delegates. It will be interesting now that the establishment has shown their cards. He pointed out the corruption. People will stand behind that. I also like how Rand said it is not rigged but biased...a nice way to say the fix is in....remember it was his dad who made the GOP change their ways.

I am getting pretty tired of people saying that. It makes people stay home and not vote.

If you are not voting in protest of something, fine. But just saying 'because our vote doesn't count' is just stupid.

Participate or move to a foreign country where they have elections just for show and to avoid UN sanctions. Then you can say that. Theorize all you want, but just sitting around and typing is really weak.

Ummm if your from Colorado your vote literally doesn't count.

That's in other states as well.

Delegates choose who they want look at these states that the candidate get more votes but less candidates.

We tried socialism during the early days of America's first settlers, it did not go to well. I do not want to go back to a time where people start dying in the streets for the good of the State.

The presidential election is unfortunately a popularity contest now days.

Pennsylvania - the delegates have already decided who they are going to vote for.
Some say they will vote for whoever wins their district, but they don't have to.
People vote for delegates, but I wonder how many are paying attention to who the delegates have already selected.

Actually, it's how people perceive their vote. It's not a straight democracy, as we are taught in school, where the victor is directly elected by the plurality of votes. For president, votes go toward delegates, and the delegates in turn choose the candidate, in some instances. Your actually voting for a surrogate who you hope chooses the person you voted for. For example, just recently in CO, Cruz got all delegates. No popular vote took place. Or the Superdelegates on the Dems side. Superdelegates ensure that people, through a popular vote, don't choose a wrong nominee (like Bernie Sanders, according to Debbie Wasserman Schultz). Look at 2000. Gore got the majority of popular votes, but Bush got in because of the electoral college. Unless people are aware of the rules, they assume this is a one person, one vote democracy. It isn't. I can't blame people for feeling disenfranchised. I can't blame them for sitting out. Mark my words, this year's general will have the lowest turnout in history if Sanders or Trump aren't the nominees.
