My friend filmed an orb, can we debunk it?

I want to believe!

But I don't, lol. Not in aliens, anyway.

The Denver story is interesting because they caught the movement of the objects going from still and unmoving to zooming away in a streak of light? That's neat. But it still could be some kind of manmade object. Or some kind of magic/illusion trick.

Don't believe in aliens visiting earth, or don't believe in aliens at all?

Thanks for your post!

As I said, I actually know this person, as opposed to much of what you see on the internet. She is not some teen, older with kids and an MBA. She didn't even want to put it on youtube............so she doesn't want attention, isn't selling books or t-shirts, she is relatively smart and knows the difference between and orb and a star.........so I don't know what her motivation would be to make this up.......so when the impossible is ruled out you are left with the improbable, however unlikely that is....

I'll post the pics again from the OP, I think they are very distinct, and look at the colors!

I do not believe that UFO sightings or abduction stories have anything to do with aliens, personally.

It's weird because I had an encounter, like many of us here (lol). But seeing isn't quite believing for me, not anymore. Maybe there's aliens in the universe... since it's so big, but I doubt they're visiting earth to probe our butts.

There are many good races. The Confederation of Planets is one of the main positive groups, according to the Law of One, I know, I would have laughed at this five years ago as well!

I'd say this video doesn't give much evidence one way or the other. It looks like an out of focus star. If they assert that the patterns couldn't be reproduced by pointing it at an out of focus light, that could be tested (and I expect similar results could be achieved without a UFO).

If you're wondering if it's possible for your friend to be telling the truth about this, it seems possible to me. I've seen some strange distant lights, and I've seen a fairly peculiar craft up close (probably all unrelated).

Could this type of effect be reproduced in real life with a spotlight or lazer pointer?

I'd be interested to hear about your encounter in another thread.

I've seen three UFO's and they were all in daylight. None of them were lit up like a Christmas tree, which makes me think that nocturnal lights are more explainable. When I say that, I mean secret Govt projects, night sky divers, drones, stars and the like.

I'm like you, I've seen something quite unexplainable up close and personal, too. Maybe one day we'll both share (if you haven't already), lol.

edit! I see that you have and I'm stalking your profile threads now.

Just click my screen name to see it.

I've seen other things which I haven't put in a thread, but I think they could be easily explained as something ordinary.

Thank you Ectoplasm8! An interesting perspective, but don't you think they are quite out of focus compared with these ones?

In these ones, taken from the video in the OP, you can even see the hexagonal geometry, and I saw squares and triangles as well........

Such shapes should be expected, they are produced by the shape of the camera shutter. I'd suggest trying to see what you get when you zoom in on a distant street light or something.

Nice attempt! But the one you shows pretty much sparkles at the same color the whole time, the one in my video goes from bright yellow, to grey, to blue, and from the pics you can see it is a distinct sphere.....
It's absolutely NOT a distinct sphere. It's as indistinct as you can get because it's out of focus. How can you not know this just by looking at it? You can see it is not so out of focus before the zoom, then it goes out of focus after zooming in.

The name for this photographic effect of out-of-focus "orbs" is called bokeh. So looking at these orbs do they not look round like the orb in your video? All we can say for sure is that they are out of focus light sources which could be anything when they are in focus, but based on the arrangement of these lights and the shape of the dark area I think I can guess the source, can you? (Hint, it's not UFOs but they look similar to the orb in your so-called UFO video).

An example of the creative application of bokeh.

I understand it's not always possible to post clear images of a UFO but when you post a video that's out of focus and the photographer doesn't even seem to be trying to focus the image, it seems like willful ignorance.

So its a drone or a streetlight or a star.........excellent work! Anything else you want to throw in?
It's out of focus. How are you supposed to tell what an out of focus object is? Focus the camera if you want to have some clue of figuring out what's being photographed!

That looks nothing like the OP video.

Bokeh is more than that. Bokeh (in Japenese) refers to the quality of the out of focus light. The images presented in the OP are nothing more than out of focus images. Standard 'UFO' pics.

The ops images represent nothing more than a total misunderstanding of optics. basic physics (and common sense) would lead one too the same conclusion.

In answer to the OP, yes we can 'debunk' it. It' just a badly shot out of focus video. Shot by someone that doesn't understand the basic principles of video!

This appears to be a clear representation of the Sphere Being Alliance of the Confederation of Planets from the Christmas Tree Nebula. I hear that they are quite generous and leave gifts for abductees.
