Bingo! The collective "us" is crazy. They are wild, crazy, frightened animals that tend toward herd mentality and stampede at the first sign of trouble.

We individuals are quite eccentric and delightfully strange. We are going to be SO much fun when we're old.

I have an ulcerated wound on my lower leg. Bad circulation, not diabetes. Started as a bad puncture. I have to wear a several-layer wrap from my toes to my knee. I asked the hospital if this came in other colors. It doesn't. Since I fancy wearing short pants, if I'm to wear this ridiculous thing, I think I should be fabulous. I want to wear a red wrap one day, maybe a purple one. Hell, go patriot (both UK, US and Cayman Islands) and wear red, white and blue. Go Jamaican another day and wear green, yellow and black. I've ordered white, red and "camo" from the local vets. I already have blue compression wrap. Rainbow would be nice, even though some locals might find that due cause for having me stoned.

Be yourself. That's what it's all about. Be ALL of yourself ALL of the time. It's a short ride. Make it fun.

I read on Yahoo today that retail websites are going to start using chatbots for customer chats. Does that piss me off? Well, yes, in the sense of sentient human beings being displaced from a job. No, in the sense that I might now have a new way to whittle away errant hours, trying to confuse a chatbot. WIN-ning!

Is there any way to treat the wound, other than wrapping? I don't mean to derail the thread or be off topic by asking. Make sure you take care of it and watch what water you go in. Things could get nasty.

I think that's right also. the 'weirdos' and free-thinkers haven't often been at the crux of power, but they've certainly been at the nexus of influence and cultural growth.
