ATS Storyfolks -

I am simply amazed at the quality (and quantity) of the story entries so far.
Any of these would individually stand on its own merit as a classic short story, but taken together as a volume of work...?

It is staggeringly good!

Just a wee quick reminder about the rules, if I may...

"...there are four photos, and for this contest our writers must compose their own original short story which includes these four images within it's story-line.

You can embed the images into the actual story post, or simply refer to them within the body of writing, but you MUST include ALL 4 IMAGES within the story to enter....

...All entries MUST include [PIC2016] in the title.

What is that second to last picture, exactly? A spider web inside of a mirror? Sorry, just trying to understand it fully xD

You guys may have given me the perfect prompt to start on a new idea of mine. It's a story made of a few older stories of mine combined. Hmmm....

Ah, now the gears are cranking! look what you've done

This story idea is for a novel, so if I enter, I might shorten my entry to just the first chapter of the story. I could add more later on, if anyone would want me to.

I'ma go poke around on other people's entries...

I suppose it's whatever you see it as XxNight!

It is most likely an old mirror with a heavy frame, and it looks (to me) like it has the reflection of a cobweb and maybe trees showing in it?
But others may see.... something different! LOL

Hi Robin...
I set the theme for this one, but it's the Mods who enforce the rules! LOL

I have given your story a quick read through now, and it wasn't that obvious to me where all the photo references were? (Might just be me missing it though!!! That wouldn't be the first time! LOL)

If the references are in there - Even if they are subtle - I would vote for keeping it in!
(But it's not really up to me to make the final decision!)

It's weird how many people have joined in. Sometimes hardly anyone seems to, but this time...holy cow!

Then confesses that I "borrowed" the idea from a different photo-story contest I entered on Rogue Nation! LOL
I had a feeling that it might work here...so.... I had a quick chat with Tenth about the idea... and here we are!

I do really like the way it has inspired people to "see" different things within the pictures and story lines, but I can't claim credit for creating the original idea!

This one really got the imagination going! The pics are so good that I had a few different ideas, thanks for the contest...loving the entries I have read so far still have a lot to get through !!
