Funny how you spin this so Bernie looks bad and totally expected. Truth is, they do see eye to eye on a great many things.

I guess you could say, Jesus was a socialist?

Nope. From what I understood, he was for giving to the poor.

He wasn't too hot on having Caesar collect the funds so the Roman government could redistribute the wealth.

But hey, I'm no biblical scholar.

First of all, what Jewish American, or any American, in their right mind would visit Saudi Arabia? Second, who the hell wants to visit Mecca? Last I heard hundreds of people were trampled. Things aren't running smoothly over there to say the least!

Here we have Bernie being invited to visit the Vatican and people like you are attacking him! How pathetic, seriously! What was he supposed to do, turn it down? Would you?

Btw, Bernie doesn't bash Israel but he does criticize Netanyahu and I agree with his criticisms. Oh wait, is it anti Semitic to criticize Israel?

Shocking you view Islam as violent, intolerant, and murderous! Say it ain't so DenyArrogance!

so·cial·ism

a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

I dunno, sounds like it would be up his ally. Capitalism is probably not the system he would endorse, you know, flipping bankers tables and all.

But hey, I'm no scholar either.

if you're trying to tell me that Jesus was pro big government and for the Romans, then good luck.

Pro big gov't? I doubt he would have been very political... or would he? Either way, I assume the man would support a system that is for the people, not for the wealthy elite... like bankers.

I can't imagine Jesus as being for big government.

But believe what you want!
