I stumbled across an old german band "J.B.O" (once called "James Blast Orchester") but James Last sued them so now they are called "James censored!chester" but still "JBO" in short. They come from bavaria not far away from me and started 1989.
They play heavy metal style but with a funny texts.

I´m afraid the texts are in german but I discovered their new album (did not even know they still play) and there is a track on it
"Vier Finger für ein Halleluja". I´m not sure if the acustic is their own creation.

Does anybody know the original track of this one, if it´s not their own?

"Vier Finger für ein Halleluja"

and btw, even if you don´t know, if you found it neat, here is an old track, it´s a satire of "Manowar - Warriors of the World" - > "Verteidiger des wahren Blödsinns" ("Defenders of true nonsense")

Thank you

I do not know the band, and have never heard their material before now.

It is a little metal by the numbers for me, but has its own appeal I would imagine. Unfortunately, it was fifteen years ago or so, that I would have been able to appreciate the lyrics, since I used to be rather the dab hand at German, both written and spoken. Unfortunately, it has been fifteen years since last I practiced, so there are perhaps five words that I can remember reliably, out of the entire German dictionary.

Now, Rammstein is a band I know the material of well, and the thing is, I have no need to know the meaning of the lyrics (although I happen to know that they are ALL dirtier than a porn set full of uranium deposits), in order to enjoy the chunky riffage and overall thematic effect of the audiological assault that is their music.

The texts are funny if you understand them (and the connections they make but that´s for locals) but are not a must. In my younger years, I did not understand the texts of english rock/metal but still liked the sound.
You would probably have a hard time understanding it because it´s franken dialect.

Does the acoustics ring a bell when you hear into the first one around 0:50?
Because I´m not sure I´ve not heard it before and if there is an original track that they aligned themselfes to, it would be great to know the name.

Rammstein, yeah the texts are dirty BUT not directly, it´s your "kopfkino" that makes them dirty ^^

I know of no metal song, besides this one that says '4 fingers for a hallejulah'. So, it must be original.
