I agree. We saw exactly that when Gore was defeated by Bush in 200, then again when Kerry was defeated by Bush 4 years later. We saw it from Hillary in 2008 when it became clear she was getting her ass handed to her by Obama. We saw it 4 years ago out of Ron Paul. It's amazing watching adults act like petulent children at times.

The Reps are going to run Cruz. His fellow senators don't care for him but then they most likely don't get a say in who will be president.

No, I believe this is right in line with how the polling numbers have evolved. His popularity peeked but now his novelty has begun to wear off and he will continue to fade.

His ideas and tactics were fun for many at first, but as we get closer to the nomination and general election, people realize that we have to elect an adult to lead this nation, not an asshat that spits absurdity.
