Well, and the fact I wouldn't want to have to see a sad elf on TV every time the POTUS gave a speech.

He looks like a sorrowful elf that was kicked out of Rivendell.

One would have thought that Kasich would have picked up more of the moderate vote than either Trump or Cruz considering their polarizing natures. Be that as it may, Trump really belly flopped into the deep end of the quicksand. He's his own worst enemy at times, and that's part of what played out yesterday.

OR...Maybe wisconsin it es have gotten sick of Trump's rhetoric and badmouthing of the policies and politicians they have approved of and continued to vote in. When Trump attacked Walker many wisconsin republicans found that very "offensives" since we have had to deal with literally constant Walker bashing in the past five years. Act 10 is still controversial but we still voted to keep in in and wisconsin it's don't really appreciate when we are insulted or attemps to bully us into a political decision. Again, we have been dealing with that from the left for the past five years so when Trump tried that was the last straw for many of us.

Honestly, this feels more like a case of Trump's chickens coming home to roost. He's made some pretty outlandish remarks over the past couple of weeks and the results have played out in the polls. It was only a matter of time before his behavior wound up biting him in the ass.

Not surprised at all.

That's what I thought too, all things being equal, when he offends peoples propriety, and with insensitivity, someone's going to throw an egg. Most people like to get on with their lives quietly and with some dignity.

This was as of Mar 28

TextSo far, Trump has 755 delegates,

link

He ended with 6 delegates in Wisconsin and today it shows he has 743. How did it go down by 12? Were delegates taken away somewhere else?

Really surprised Cruz won. Wisconsin is a very liberal state. Cruz doesn't seem like he'd be popular in WI with his proselytizing even among conservative voters. I'd though Trump would have also pulled a lot of the blue collar conservatives too with his stance on American jobs, etc.

I'm surprised (and kinda disgusted) that Cruz won here in Wisconsin, but he did have Scooter Walker's endorsement.

There were a LOT of negative Trump ads emphasizing his anti-women statements, both on TV and through robocalls throughout the weekend and Monday. I didn't see any anti-Cruz ads.

Here in Rock County, Trump did win over Cruz. It's exactly the blue collar environment you mention. In 2008, the GM plant in Janesville closed and over 2000 people in the area lost jobs and we've never really recovered from it economically. But, there are also some counties up North and along Lake Michigan that are solid red every election. Walker won in every one of them on both general elections and survived a recall attempt, too, so his endorsement probably carried a lot of weight with those voters.

This is why I have been saying the more press Trump gets, the more he will bury himself. I hope he gets more press and that more people are talking about him because this would be the end result.LMAO

Who's the better choice?

Hillary - Might as well have Obama for another term. While Obama is bought and paid for by corporations and the establishment though, Hillary is as well, AND bought by our enemies and Wall Street!

Sanders - Sure, why not elect a guy who never had a steady job until his 40's, then got elected, and has done NOTHING while in Congress, except destroy the VA (i.e. govt. healthcare), and vote yourself a big pay cut in the form of taxes and premiums while you're at it.

Cruz - Like Hillary, bought and paid for by all of those PACs and Super PACs, also an establishment shill (now).

Yes...so many better choices. Sometimes, not knowing what you're gonna get is better than knowing you're going to get crapped on.....

Who's the better choice?

Why, Kasich, of course!

Only non-numbskull running, who also happens to be a moderate.

My county (Ozaukee) was 60/20/17 for Cruz/Trump/Kasich. People around here are getting tired of Trump, I think.

Amazingly (to me) 'Other' got 2.6% of the vote in Wisconsin. And that isn't because of write-ins, it's because for some reason all of the candidates who had run (Rubio, Carly, Walker, Carson, etc.) were still on the ballot. Plus people who voted early absentee when other candidates were still around.

And yes, my county is very red. We're typically the 3rd 'reddest' county in each election (behind Waukesha and Washington).
