No reason to give her the benefit of doubt on anything. She's a despicable liar either way. Lying about rape -- one way or another -- is just beyond the pale. And she lied then about it or she's lying now. Just awful.
I would be careful about making such comments about women. People might misconstrue it as sexism and misogyny.

On which statement? The one in which she was raped or the one in which she recants?
I said I give her the benefit of the doubt, not which statement I believe to be true.
We can give her the benefit of the doubt and still be skeptical of Trump's approach to women based on his potential previous transgressions.

All due respect, but I disagree.
I think Ivana is actually a real good woman that really loved Donald Trump and went through a lot of crap for that love.
She fell in love with the lifestyle and tried to be the ultimate wife to the man she viewed as a god. There is a lot of biographical info out there on Trump and Ivana. Interesting stuff to say the least.
Anyway, it almost reads like she has some sort of twisted Stockholm syndrome-type of mindset.

I'm not Trump fan (reality show or for president) but this is dumb. Who cares? Don't we have anything better to talk about than this dope opera? Pathetic.

Let's also not forget that she is bound by court order to not talk publicly about the relationship or marriage. Unless, of course, it's positive.
I can't get past it. Personally, I don't think she was lying then. My gut says that was the truth.
So, if she is lying now, I think that's low.
Everything Trump says is debatable. His record of not telling the truth is pretty well established.
I'm surprised you are defending him; His charismatic spell has ensnared you as well eh?
I'm impressed with your effort on trying to prove the facts to a Trump supporter. Let's face it, their in big time denial. Sometimes I think trumps hair has an hypnotic effect on these people.

Who are you voting for? Because the presumptive nominee for the Dems is a racist, lying misandrist.
Here's a tip: no one spends hundreds of millions of dollars to get elected to a job that pays 300k a year, unless they are bent.

"They're" would be a more proper term in this instance. But then again, you appreciate when the media defames an innocent man,
and I wouldn't put bad grammar past any of you.
Can you recite one thing Trump has said about minorities that is good? Probably not, but that's not because he hasn't said them, but because you're being fed a certain narrative, and simply repeating it without looking any further.
Do you ever question whether what the media says might not be true? And following that, do you ever go look for yourself?
