Why do we laugh?

Thats the question I am asking you. Why do humans laugh? Im sure I can Google that question, But I wanted to discuss this like we were all having a beer or smoking a joint together. You know stupid stuff to talk about.

What I find weird about laughing is that we make strange noises and our bodies sometimes move all crazy and I can feel laughter throughout my body. I love to laugh and my dad had the greatest laugh ever.

Throughout my school years I was constantly getting trouble for laughing in class. Sometimes I would laugh so much at school with my friends my stomach muscles would ache for a few days. It was from trying to hold in my laughter. It felt like I just did 100 sit ups!


Why do some of the littlest things make us laugh out loud? Like small things, Like that time on Seinfeld when Jerry put that little Pez dispenser on the chair? That always makes me LOL for real and I dont know why? I dont know if its because it looks tiny or its a damn Pez dispenser? Loooool, Im laughing as I type this.

Laughter is one of the best ways to release mental, spiritual and even physical stress.

There are quite a few theory's, some claim it has to do with primate behavior since chimps seem to show a similar ability but personally I have not got a clue but to coin an old phrase you have to laugh or you would cry.

Because it lets us take a little piece of the child's soul who just slipped and fell down in front of you?

It's a social sign language, the same as growling and making faces when we are angry.

I loved when my kids had their first luagh's, it sure is medicine for the soul.

People laugh when the see me, then I laugh right back..Lol
