The CIA or any other governmental department haven't yet disposed of him and I suspect the U.S. has beam weapons in space.

Why isn't he already dead,then?

Because he isn't a threat.

He barks and barks but doesn't bite, this is allowed to continue because it can be rolled out when Congress thinks that a Defense spending cut would be a good idea.

The North Korean govt. is not, allow me to repeat, is not going to attack the US with nukes.

Certainly not New York, or Washington DC, or even the state of Washington. They don't have the tech. to do it.

North Korea under the Kims, all three of 'em, have been making these noises since before I was born...and from the way things look, will be doing it long after I've shuffled off this mortal coil.

Kim the Third may be a nutjob, even a murderous nut job, but he's not a stupid, murderous nutjob. He knows what would happen to him, personally, if he were to do something so suicidally stupid. He'd be dead with in hours.

No need to sweat it. Like the little yappy mutt in the neighbors yard...sound and fury that equates to exactly nothing.

If Kim Jung-Un attacks another nation, we'll likely be drawn into the ensuing war, and lose American lives. I vote to covertly take him out ASAP.

I'd be inclined to agree with those people. I'd also agree with Bone75 in suggesting the threat is created and stoked by western interests. It's a recurring theme.

Is it correct that NK is the last country on Earth that does not have a privately owned central bank?

It seems that we'll finally believe it when they launch, and all our cheap and crappy defense systems fail utterly, and the population is dramatically decreased!
A silver lining, no doubt!

I'm in the HE COULD LIGHT THE TORCH OF WORLD WAR 3 ,
Basically a food fight with nukes , and lil Kim can't throw that far , but I wouldn't like to be the ones he can hit .

North Korea doesn't care how over-confident the Americans are in this thread, and they are right - a troglodyte and a couple of planes changed the face of America and much of the world - food for thought. You can bet your ass all the people on that day felt safe until it happened too.

Dismiss whatever you want, underestimation is your weakness not your enemies.

We have no idea of the true extent of their cyber capabilities even, we know they participated, not for the first time, in GPS jamming as recently as April 1st. You should look into Bureau 121.

Like always they are just pissin in the wind. Why do people bother posting this stuff here. Can they not see that none of their previous threats have been carried out have they?

I suggest that people who keep posting NK threats on here, might want to think about how it reflects on themselves.

I wonder if we are seeing a plan in action geared towards the US / Europe / NATO by Russia, China, Iran and N. Korea.

Going back a few years we have seen actions being taken by those 3 countries that forces a change in response posturing. Russia in Ukraine, Syria, Georgia and China and the S. China sea, N. Korean nuke / ballistic missile testing coupled with military provocations by the North (sinking a S. K. naval vessel, shelling a S. Korean island, the death of S. Korean soldiers along the DMZ.

Just as one region begins to come close to a boiling point an incident in another region picks up, forcing a shift. Months later another incident in a completely different region takes form and there is yet another shift.

Something is not adding up.

I believe the British felt the same way about Argentina threatening to take the Falkland Islands.

Eventually one side becomes lax because the action is nothing new and when they realize, as an example, that a Russian snap drill crosses a border instead of stopping at the border like all the other times that something is wrong.

Tom Clancy did a decent job of demonstrating that concept in Debt of Honor, Executive orders and The Bear and the Dragon. Through those books China continually had military training and procurement of military items. They had their hand in the plots of the first 2 books albeit participating from the shadows instead of openly. In the final book the Chinese discuss their high level of training exercises and note that other countries became use to them and accepted it as routine with no other motive - until China invaded Russia.

I personally believe that Kim has no intentions what so ever of attacking ANYONE. I believe this is the stuff he tells his people in order to keep control over them.

I think its been their goal all along to defeat China, America, and even South Korea. I hope they don't try to use any of those nukes.

The entire country of North Korea will be sealing their fate if they even carried out an attack on the U.S.. Kim is either living in a fantasy world or he has no concept of the military technology and nuclear capability of the U.S.. If he keeps pulling the tail of the tiger, eventually it's going to bite back.

Yeah , what did an Admiral once say about the US ? "We will awaken the sleeping Dragon" .Tell dumb*** Lil Kim he better take some history lessons.

Sometimes it's not about winning, but leaving a legacy. At some point we're liable to get some crazy dictator with nukes who wants to go out with a bang rather than simply die quietly and insignificantly. One sure way to leave a memorable impression would be to cause as much decimation with your resources as possible before you die, and with nukes at your disposal you could be the talk of the world for a very long time.

For information: Do not put Fat Boy in the same realm as his "loyal" subjects. Sure per capita, NK is a backward country, through rule and servitude for the majority of its citizens, they know no better so lets first of all, mean no harm on them.

Now, the ruling Junta and its Military are not tuning in to radio using backward 60's technology, in fact, i would dare say that "Fat Boy" is technological as up to speed as we are! you think he spends his time watching betamax video? nah, he has a subscription to Rupert Murdoch in his palaces, although i bet he don't pay like we do.

Call them backward all you want ....... LOL them all you want, Fat Boy is in our club whether you like it or not

Our intelligence community can't afford to completely discount what amounts to blatant propaganda, but we citizens should. They pose no real threat to the survivability of the US.
