I will be completely honest with you. I like Mexicans! I'm a retired teacher and a good majority of young Mexicans I had in my classes were
respectful and hard working. In fact I taught for 22 years and my best student I had was a Mexican girl who graduated as the valedictorian of her
senior class! She was a model student and worked from the time she came into class until the end of the class period. I had her brother two years
later and he turned out to be the complete opposite! I couldn't figure that one out. He had a lot of anger issues. My Bosnian students were also
very respectful and hard working.
My grandparents were Italian immigrants and like many European immigrants, they came here legally. They were also discriminated against, but worked
hard to gain acceptance. Even though Italians came to this country legally, the criminal element in the form of organized crime also slipped through
during the immigration process. With today's technology, we still won't be able to identify many who will engage in crime. I think that's very
concerning to many Americans when it comes to Muslims who harbor radical Islamist beliefs and can engage in mass killing of innocent people.
My question to you is why did you leave Mexico and why wouldn't you go through the legal process of coming into this country legally? Don't you want
to be considered an American citizen? If not, why?
